Topic: How does 12th House Play Out in Synastry?

Other than the whole secret relationship, unrequited love thing. What would a partner's personal planet such as Venus, in your 12th house be like in synastry? Would there be secrets he/she keeps from you? A subtle feeling of mistrust? What would it feel like for house person and the planet person? Who is more attracted to the other? IP: Logged |

His venus was in my 12th house. He secretly crushed on me before I realized it. Then we had an intense moment where we locked eyes and the mutual attraction was evident. We secretly liked each other (friends had no clue, well maybe a little) then we had a secret tryst. I feel that there is some karma attached to our attraction like knowing each other in a past life.
I think we both didn't trust each other or the sitution enough. The attraction was confirmed only by our eyes, gut feelings and body language. It seemed illogical to the mind.
I say the venus person feels it more or notices first the attraction/chemistry. I was caught off guard that he had like me. I caught him staring at me, giving me that "look". IP: Logged |

more than half of my first house stellium fall on my lover/buddy's 12th house (the one i mentioned in the Venus retro thread). my Venus is on his 12th house cusp. we sort of have the weirdest relationship. it's as if we take the effort to create secrets for each other, i don't know the better way to explain. and we pretend like we are not intimate, but not "hide" it necessarily... and we take breaks abruptly and date other people and then wander back together again always. i think part of it is definitely the 12th house thing. unusual and bizarre.IP: Logged |

I got someone's venus and mars in my 12th house and its very much like what lechien said, creating secrets for each other, pretending your not intimate yet you are. Everything is underlying and beneath the surface and almost like it doesn't exist, but it does. The 12th house person (me) doesn't see the planets qualities but more feels them. Its crap when they say its clandestine affairs and unrequited feelings b/c ive also got a psychic link to this person and past life connections, along with tons of venus-mars aspects which means even though we wander off and do our own thing with other people, we always get drawn back to each other. All the issues that are the 12th house are present in this interaction (confinement, secrets, enemies, institutions etc etc)IP: Logged |

So it seems all the experiences with relationships involving venus and the 12th house, were never made concrete or public. So it's very ethereal, and more of a feeling. Like you wake up and don't know if it was real. Actually, that kind of relationship seems quite intriguing, and mysteriously exciting.  But I guess it usually doesn't last or ever turn into anything solid. IP: Logged |

Agree.. I have the strangest attraction for ppl who have stellium in Virgo... cos they will definately conjunct either my Jupiter or Saturn in my 12th house. And they feel so familar.. IP: Logged |

My so's mars/jupiter/chiron stellium falls in my 12th house. It was very familiar with all kinds of weird coincidences from the very beginning, but then we have powerful node synastry also.
I cant get over a nagging, vague distrust I always feel about him. He's never done anything to earn it, its just there and very hard for me to get over. He doesnt seem to share the feeling of distrust about me. I think we both keep some secrets from eachother. Our relationship was also secret for a period of time, but no longer(lots of saturn?).IP: Logged |
