Suddently i asked myself if this is important.Or if someone had already felt its effects? As Draco shows our Soul´s Self, relating to the Past Experiences,so...DO WE FEEL the transiting Planets over our Draconic Placements? Any experiences you have to share? Right now im having: Tr Saturn(r) passing my Draco 4H Tr Lilith cj my Moon ( soon will be Tr Pluto also there) Tr Juno and Kiron cj MC Tr Uranus cj my Nessus Tr Sun cj Karma/Valentine/Mars Tr Venus cj Venus Tr Saturn square Pluto Tr nept square ASC Tr Pluto square Lilith/ceres/karma Tr KIRON square ASC Tr IP: Logged |

You will feel the transits to Draco Chart mainly in a) Strongly aspected Planets b) Transits from Asteroids conjunct Ascendant or Sun c) Draconic House Cusps. It is not helpful to analyze every asteroid transit in a draco chart, asteroid transits are quite subtle even in natal charts, they do not activate much without a primary planet driver. Just so that I get it right. My Sun is pretty strongly aspected with the conjunction to Mercury, Merlin, Reiki, Sekhmet, Circe, Kleopatra, Caesar and so on. It falls on 15 Aries in my Draco chart - so would I feel transits going over 15 Aries? Same goes for my ASC-stellium, which falls ion 25 - 29 Pisces in Draco. Would transits over these points be felt? IP: Logged |

I dont think that Draconic charts have something to do with past lives, the tropical chart is connected with Sun (Ego, self) Draconic relates to Moon (emotional side)I like how Kim Falconer described it:I like to think of the natal Draconic chart as a layer of “soul fabric” that lies underneath the outward personality. You can’t see it unless you look deep. Like the silk lining of a jacket, we never think about it being there and it never fully shows, yet it is a substance that makes the wearing of the coat more comfortable—a better fit—and when the breeze flips up an edge and we get a glimpse of that contrasting color and silky texture, we go “ahhh”. quote: How to Interpret Draconic Charts The Draconic zodiac is a wonderful tool for illuminating the kinds of experiences you will encounter on your life path. A planet’s Draconic position represents that planet’s role in expressing your soul’s chosen purpose. Mixing the two zodiacs and noting their interaction best shows how that purpose is likely to manifest in this lifetime. In other words, the kind of events and people you draw into your life to learn your soul’s lessons can be found by comparing your Draconic planetary positions to the Tropical planetary positions in your natal chart. To illustrate, if your Draconic Saturn is conjunct your Tropical Moon, it would suggest that your spiritual need to experience the matters of Saturn in your life (structure, responsibility, limitation, grief, etc.) would manifest through the matters of the Moon (family, the mother, women in general, or feelings). And conversely, if your Draconic Moon is conjunct your Tropical Saturn, it indicates that matters of the Moon are influenced by Saturn in your life, implying that they may be blocked, limited in some way, or even missing altogether. In both examples, whatever manifests is the life condition your soul has chosen as the best way for you to learn your spiritual lessons. Draconic planets also work another way. If you are not consciously striving to align your life with your soul’s purpose, choosing to ignore it instead, then the Draconic positions often represent your "shadow," which is your unconscious self which you experience through your interactions with others. For instance, having Draconic Mars conjunct your Ascendant suggests that spiritually you have chosen to learn the lesson of assertiveness. However, if you fail to express Mars in a consciously assertive way, you will very likely experience everyone else’s Mars powerfully directed at you. You might even find that Tropical Mars rises in the charts of most of your significant others. Although that may make life seem a little unfair, it’s actually a pretty ingenious process. Sooner or later you will be forced to "own" your own Mars rising (Draconic) to keep everyone you meet from running roughshod over you. It’ll be just a matter of time before you finally stand up for yourself, even if it takes a lifetime or two. The usual method of examining Draconic positions is to place them outside your natal Tropical chart. The aspects between the two zodiacs seems to take precedence over the signs in which the Draconic planets are found. However, the sign of your Draconic Sun will be very noticeable in your personality. In fact, that sign may be the one people most often guess to be your Sun sign. Angularity is also important in evaluating Draconic positions, for Draconic planets falling near the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, or I.C. will be high focus in your life. In addition, Tropical planets found near your Draconic angles are also highlighted. In addition to using Draconic positions to interpret individual natal charts, using them in chart comparisons can also be very illuminating. It can show a strong spiritual connection keeping two people together who you might not otherwise think were a good astrological match. Also, as was the case for the Mars rising example above, the Draconic/Tropical combinations in an individual’s chart are often found among the dominant Tropical aspects in the charts of their close friends and relatives. As for transits, Tropical transits to natal Draconic positions are often very descriptive of what’s happening when aspects to the Tropical positions don’t seem to describe an event. In addition, Draconic transits can be used in aspect to Tropical or Draconic positions and often tell the tale when nothing else works. Other astrological techniques, e.g., progressions, directions, solar returns, or composites, are greatly enhanced by adding Draconic placements. ©1996 Andrea Arden All Rights Reserved

Truly Draconics are not the past life chart, every past life has its own natal chart.Draconics will show the cumulative past lifeline effects borne by the Soul. And it is the only chart that shows past life contacts through intersections with the relevant Natal Chart. Every family has common points only in the Draconic than natal. Yes to your question DD, there will be subtle events on transits to 15 Aries for you. IP: Logged |

I think that the DRaco may only show pastlives or experiences that are important for the ongoing incarnation. It`sliket he past life`s experiences have left their imprint on the soul, and since the DRaco relates to the soul, those imprints become visible.IP: Logged |

Just bumping, because I'm checking out my own Draconic chart - in between the computer freeze-ups - and I liked the snippet that Peri posted above.I'm trying to get a copy of my draconic chart posted, without having my computer shut down on me... *edit. Oops - this is transits to the Draconic, and at the moment, I'm comparing mine to my natal chart. One interesting one to me, is a conjunction to a midpoint. IP: Logged |

So how do I look at the above?eg: D. Saturn conjunct natal Sun/Moon and Sun/Venus midpoint. Does this point to my seriousness around relationships? D. ascendant, conjunct natal Mars, trine natal Uranus/ascendant? is that the same as D. Mars conjunct natal ascendant? D. Mercury conjunct natal Midheaven, trine my own Mercury... I shouldn't be here, I just needed a distraction for a little while. back later... *edit. D. Mars conjunct natal Karma is another one... IP: Logged |

Transits:Transiting Saturn to D. Moon, Venus and South Node (last year and early this year). Relationship problems. Jupiter conjunct D. uranus/ascendant, trine D. Mars. Not good, either... (not doing so well here, am I? I was upset, but determined to not wallow. A few weeks later, two of my pets have health problems develop or worsen. Wallowing/depression commenced since then.) More later...

I just realized (pretty unbelievable considering how often I've looked at that chart) that I have Draco Sun closely conj ALGOL. I need to contemplate that one a bit more, I think. I also need to check transits for some key life events. IP: Logged |

I agree that they may be fated in the sense that they become influential for your present and future life/soulpath, fitting to the nodal axis which is the basic of the Draco chart.IP: Logged | |
