Hi Everyone!If someone, anyone, lol, could give me some basic interpretation of Bucket Pattern in a Composite chart...I have tried for 3 days online looking for info... Bucket Pattern Composite with Saturn in Gemini in 3H (conjunct IC about 5 deg) with core opposition to Moon in Sag in 10H (widely conjunct MC 10 deg)....what the heck does that mean? I can gather that the energy of the chart is funnelled through and released in a "Saturnly way" (correct me if Im wrong) so with reservation and caution? but oppose the moon I can't quite grasp....??? It is as if there are emotional charges being built up and released by the couple in question, and it is their karmic destiny to undergo this.------------------

A Composite Bucket would give a purpose/project to the relationship and its nature is seen in the "handle' (the singleton planet): sign, house, /hemisphere, quadrant, aspects. The whole structure would be important though, in understanding the dynamics of how the energy of the scattered yet grouped planets in the Bucket (bowl) hemisphere are meant to be used and release their energy in the "handle". For example, a direct 4th harmonic structure would give more dynamism to the Bucket (an opp to the handle planet and/or a Tsquare). Can you post the comp chart, Voix?------------------

Darn it. There isn't a singleton, or "handle", so it looks like it isn't actually a bucket after all. Ironically, there is a shared project within the relationship, it is a group effort however with 3 others. Perhaps one of them places a planet to create the handle. I'll have to look into it further. Interestingly, my Chiron provides a handle, or the NN of a member of the group, although this probably isn't a "bucket" in the traditional sense.However, the project is shared between 5 people, but originated with the 2 that create the bucket with the missing handle. IP: Logged |

That's very interesting, Voix, and very consistent with this pattern: the existence of a project/common mission  If the handle is missing, the pattern is actually a Bowl http://www.myastrologybook.com/Bowl-planetary-pattern-astrology.htm I think your Chiron providing a potential Bucket handle, or the Nodal axis of someone else actually shows the impact of the project on you (and them). It seems to have a considerable impact on them (probably in regards to their professional future) and for you, the project activates your Chiron (here we would need more data to see which way, but it could be about learning something important in regards to your own natal Chiron, teaching, mentoring, healing past wounds or, and I wonder if the project has anything to do with "hands", it could be that literal since Chiron is a "handy" fellow.  Is there any manual skill involved? ------------------
