I'm interested in hearing from people who were born prematurely.[edited to add: also, people born more than two weeks past due] Do you have planets in the 12th house, or is the ruler of the 12th afflicted? Please show placements and aspects. Thanks. IP: Logged |

Hello HSC,I wasn't born premature but I'd like to refer you to the charts of the Octuplets, they have 2 planets in the 12th that have hard aspects to Saturn by opposition. BABY A: born 1;26/09 at 10:43 AM, Los Angeles, CA. The other 7 babies born within 5 minutes also have the Venus-Uranus conjunction opposite Saturn. I was born 3 weeks late in 1967. They don't allow children to be born that late anymore, but my Sun is in the 12th House with hard aspects, so maybe it's suggestive of early and late births. And I apologize because I won't reveal my birth data. Good luck with everyone else. IP: Logged |

My friend delivered on Monday 3 weeks prematurely, her son has an empty 12th house. Pluto, the ruler of the 12th house, is squaring Venus, Mars and Uranus and trining Sun.IP: Logged |

Interesting...I was born about 3 weeks late and have a 12th house moon. Moon has an opposition to Uranus and that's the only aspect. I don't think the house ruler is afflicted, the aspects seem friendly. My mom's moon is in the 12th too, I should ask if she was born early or late... IP: Logged |

My son was 7 weeks pre-mature. 01-Aug-07 his Due date was 17-Sept-07. When I went into labour I joked with the nurse (who didn't find the humour in this at all) I said that my son was determined not to be a Virgo and wanted to be a Leo! LOL I'm not sure about else where but in Canada pre-mature births start at 4 weeks or earlier. So I guess it might make a difference when looking at houses and pre-mature births. Interesting...I was going to suggest early and late births, but I figured late births are, at least, fully developed. Perhaps, just as I suspect early births dont get enough of the womb, late births may get too much, and, in both instances, the result may be a greater longing for return to the womb; which I tend to see as an operation of the 12th house. So far, it sounds like, everyone who was born early or late has at least one planet in the 12th, -- with the exception of Lana's friend's son, whose 12th is ruled by a very afflicted Pluto. I would also suggest people try using Whole Sign Houses, and see if that might yeild some additional insights. I was born a month and a half early. Using Placidus, my 12th house is empty, but the ruler is afflicted six times over. According to the Whole Sign House system, I have three planets in the 12th house. And this is the system which I have found to be most accurate, in a variety of instances. I hope more people respond. IP: Logged |

(And many asteroids, i can list if you want to) i was a largest score on apgar scale but i got Hepatitis in the nursery so i had severe liver issues. i still don't enjoy meat all that much IP: Logged |

My nephew was born 6 weeks early by C-Section, his life and his mother's at risk. I will have to dig out his details. I used to have his chart, don't think he has 12th house planets. My husband has a strong 12th house. 2 weeks early, no that does not count as premature, 2 weeks either way is counted as full term, normal. One of those planets is Pluto, Rising, associated with C-Sections. He was sure he was a C-Section but his mother told me that wasn't true. The birth was fine but she nearly died afterwards from complications and was never able to have any more children. We have a child together with strong 12th house. Also born 2 weeks before his due date, good job, he was huge. Very quick birth, no problems. But that doesn't help answer the question. IP: Logged |

sevannah i always thought the same thing about my daughter, other way round! she was predicted for a pisces birthday but she is SO an aries, tons of fire...and her birthdate puts her chart in great relation to both her father and me, which would not have been the case with her "due" date. she probably would have died as a pisces, with us for parents!!IP: Logged |

I was born between 2 weeks and 1 month early after a 23 hour labor and was induced or labor would have been longer.I have no regular planets in 12th house but I do have 2 dwarf planets in the 12th house. Pluto and Ceres are considered dwarf planets now too. Makemake in 16'20 Leo in 12th conjunct AntiVertex in 14'58 Leo in 11th and Ceres in 13'57 Leo in 11th,square Mercury in 18'21 Scorpio in 3rd,and sextile Uranus in 15'17 Libra in 2nd Haumea in 11'17 Virgo in 12th conjunct Ascendant in 13'27 Virgo, square Midheaven in 11'14 Gemini, and quincunx North Lunar Node in 10'29 Aquarius. I believe that if Pluto is counted, then its fellow kuiper dwarf planets, Eris,Makemake,Haumea and asteroid dwarf planet Ceres should be counted too. Raymond

Lara,Yep. Pluto was demoted to minor planet in Aug 24, 2006. It was classified with Eris and Ceres as dwarf planets. Then later on, Makemake and Haumea were classified as dwarf planets. here is a list of dwarf planet candidates: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dwarf_planet_candidates The astronomers created a new class of kuiper dwarf called Plutoids with Pluto as the prototype. As of 2009, Pluto, Eris, Haumea, and Makemake are the only objects classified as plutoids http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plutoid
the following is from astronomer, Dr. Michael Brown
So how many dwarf planets are there? Ceres is still the only asteroid that is known to be round. After that it gets complicated. All of the rest of the new dwarf planets are in the distant region of the Kuiper belt, where we can't actually see them well enough to know for sure if they are round or not.
While we can't see most of the objects in the Kuiper belt well enough to determine whether they are round or not, we can estimate how big an object has to be before it becomes round and therefore how many objects in the Kuiper belt are likely round. In the asteroid belt Ceres, with a diameter of 900 km, is the only object large enough to be round, so somewhere around 900 km is a good cutoff for rocky bodies like asteroids. Kuiper belt objects have a lot of ice in their interiors, though. Ice is not as hard as rock, so it less easily withstands the force of gravity, and it takes less force to make an ice ball round. The best estimate for how big an icy body needs to be to become round comes from looking at icy satellites of the giant planets. The smallest body that is generally round is Saturn's satellite Mimas, which has a diameter of about 400 km. Several satellites which have diameters around 200 km are not round. So somewhere between 200 and 400 km an icy body becomes round. Objects with more ice will become round at smaller sizes while those with less rock might be bigger. We will take 400 km as a reasonable lower limit and assume that anything larger than 400 km in the Kuiper belt is round, and thus a dwarf planet. How many objects larger than 400 km are there in the Kuiper belt? We can't answer this question precisely, because we don't know the sizes of more than a handful of Kuiper belt objects (for an explanation why, see the discussion on the size of Eris), but, again, we can make a reasonable guess. If we assume that the typical small Kuiper belt object reflects 10% of the sunlight that hits its surface we know how bright a 400 km object would be in the Kuiper belt. As of late August 2006, 44 objects this size or larger in the Kuiper belt (including, of course, Eris and Pluto), and one (Sedna) in the region beyond the Kuiper belt. In addition our large ongoing Palomar survey has detected approximately 30 more objects of this size which are currently undergoing detailed study. We have not yet completed our survey of the Kuiper belt. Our best estimate is that a complete survey of the Kuiper belt would double this number. For now, the number of known objects in the solar system which are likely to be round is 53, with the number jumping to 80 when the objects from our survey are announced, and to ~200 when the Kuiper belt is fully surveyed. Beyond the Kuiper belt there may be even more dwarf planets than in the Kuiper belt. Our best guess is that the region where Sedna resides could contain another ~2000 dwarf planets. http://web.gps.caltech.edu/~mbrown/dwarfplanets/ Raymond IP: Logged |
