I was wondering how many people think if they didnt know their birthtimes, would they be able to guess their ascendant correctly? Some signs are more obvious than others. Fixed signs are more obvious I think.IP: Logged |

awwww wow Writesomething... did i?That's such a cool thing to say cos i really thought everyone was sick too death of me harking on about my AC !!! Thank you. I have to say though.. there is nothing worse than if you feel an AC sign is not right for you and yet others keep on telling you that you are def THAT AC. It's the most awkward thing... Bless you. I wish that everyone who is frustrated in not knowing their AC gets there in the end. It's so worth it! IP: Logged |

I think I would be able to tell that I'm a Scorp ASC, but I might have also thought Pisces.------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon IP: Logged |

I probably would've leaned towards the possibility, but then I probably would've assumed scorpio, virgo, or aquarius too.IP: Logged |

Lara, forgive me, but I don't see how you could be an Aqua Rising. You sound and feel a lot more like a Leo.But... to stay on topic. If I didn't know my birth time, I would have guessed I was Pisces Rising. (I'm an Aqua Rising) I have a lot of Neptunian energy about me. A lot of my very close friends are Pisces etc. IP: Logged |

When I got into astrology, and Before I thought to look on the internet, My mom thought I was a Capricorn Rising, or a Capricorn moon, She also thought I had a bunch of Virgo. But only Uranus/Neptune Conjunction in Capricorn, and No Virgo, though Venus in the 6th house as Aries. | | | \/\/\/------------------ Sun: Pisces Moon: Libra Rising: Scorpio IP: Logged |

I think a lot of i depends on the rest of your chart. For me personally my stellium in aries really made it difficult to sort out my AC simply because my aries was so dominant. I would say that if one does have a stellium look first to see if it is an easy area in your chart or a hard one. If easy then maybe it's sextiling or trining a possible AC and if hard then it is potentially squaring or opposing. Of course, if it is very domineering then it could be conjunct the AC. Otherwise, try to figure out by grilling family to ascertain if one was born in the morning or evening. I know l had to be born in the morning because my Granny said she remembered the morning and her memory was amazing plus i had a problem at birth that would have showed up about 4/6 hours after my birth and it was a problem that needed immediate medical attention from a specialist. As i was born on a friday l can, with common sense know that l can't have been born late in the morning as then my problem would have shown late afternoon, and specialists work office hours... these kinds of details really help! Luckily, I have an exact birthtime. If I didn't, I don't think I could EVER guess my Cap ascendent, EXCEPT that if I had to pick a house where my Leo Sun and Mars belonged, it would definitely be the 8th, no question. So I think I could deduce the Cap rising from there. IP: Logged |

A stellium is more than three planets in a specific sign.IP: Logged |

Hi Rubi,Well i have been trying to find out for 3 years now, rectifying charts and so forth. I did have my chart rectified and the woman said i was ARIES but it just didn't fit somewhere inside me. I have had so much incredible help on here, especially from 23 who is just the most amazingly kind person and she has so much knowledge on AC's. Then we thought l was Leo. So we tried that. Then IQ who is another astrologer on here and a few others said Aqua so l looked at that. I canceled out Leo because it put all my planets in 9th/10th and i'm more creative than career orientated. I am very expressive with the written word so Aqua put all my planets in 3rd/4th. I have 3 kids and l remember lots of dates so l looked at my dates with 23 and IQ looked at my kids. With Aqua AC all my kids have NN contacts to it. The sabian symbols matched up and also looking at my ex's and our synastries matched up. It is a LONG and very frustrating process and the worst thing is that you are in your own little determined world when analysing it and don't really notice how annoying it is for other people. Everyone on here has been really patient with me cos l kept changing hats and began to be concerned that l would no longer be taken seriously but they seem to have forgiven me I wish you luck as it really is a pain in the butt! A stellium is also where they are all conjunct, for example i have:saturn 18' aries NN 18' aries moon 19' aries venus 21' aries If you had say: saturn 5' aries NN 8' aries moon 26' aries then it's not a true stellium although some say it's still a house stellium IP: Logged |

A stellium is 3 or more planets in the same sign or house; they don't even have to be all conjunct by degree...its like a concentrate of the same energy. If you don't have any sign stelliums, you should check if you have any house stelliums, those can be pretty telling on what areas of life you focus on more so than others. IP: Logged |

I would've guessed Sag ASC for myself instead of Gem. I act more like a Sag because of my house placements and the depositor of my Sun and chart ruler is in Sag.IP: Logged |

Dulce, i beg to differ. A Stellium out of orb is not really concentrated imho. There has been a lot of talkk about this on another site in the past 3 yrs and most people agree that it needs to be in orb. IP: Logged |

I think, even if it`s out of orb, it is a stellium; but of course it`s much stronger and focused, if it is in orb though.IP: Logged |

^^Yes DD. Lara, that isn't the general consensus here; some people will agree with you and some will agree with me. IMO The energy doesn't need to be conjunct by degree because ALL that matters that there's a concentration of the SAME energy. Of course, its more potent if it's the planets are also conjunct by degree but you can't just discount it if they're a bit spread out because then one will wonder why they focus on one area almost exclusively while overlooking the fact that they have 3498 planets in the same sign/house. So Dulce, effectively you are saying that my sun, mercury and mars in Taurus is also a stellium even if mars is out of orb with the other two?ok interesting. I don't think it has the strength of a stellium though. What do you think? IP: Logged |
