I have this theory (and I'm sure others have thought this too but I've never read anything about it) that where someone's planets fall into your chart, it's like a conjunction with the natural ruler of that house, however it is only felt by the house person. For instance, say a person's Moon falls into my 4th house so it would feel like a Moon/Moon conjunction for me, but not necessarily to the other person. Or say my Venus falls into the 8th of another person's so for them it feels like a Venus/Pluto conjunction. What do you think? IP: Logged |

Mmmm I think that theory may have some validity. As far as myself when I feel house overlays it takes on the qualities of that ruling planet. For example this guy I know has both his Sun and Mer in the 3rd house, and his Moon in my 11th. I really love him to pieces, as a friend, and love talking to him. While my Sun/Mer and Mars fall in his 8th, along with my moon in his 2nd he sees me as a handful and secreative as far as what he has told me. I think its Cafeastrology that says that house overlays feel sorta like permanent transits to the ruling planet when you are interacting with the person. Ex a Sun in the 11th feels like a Sun Uranus transit. IP: Logged |

I just noticed this because every person that has had their Moon in my 4th house has been hard for me to let go of, and recently I've been with someone who has had their Moon conjunct my Moon (in my 5th) and it was hard to let go of them too.IP: Logged |

amowlsu are right on spot.... the house person feels it and fourth house is v sensitive house, specially if you have cancer prominenet in your chart. fourth house is in a way a very deep core of a being and if anyone lands his or her planets in that house that person becomes v essential for emotional well being of house person IP: Logged |

I think that theory might hold weight amowls. At first I read your theory as the planet conjuncting the ruler of that House instead or the natural ruler. I wonder if both theories can apply.I have a friend in whose 4th house my Jupiter falls in. Coincidentally, my Jupiter conjuncts her Moon in her 4th House so I can't really separate the house ruler conjunction theory. I have a question though, if my Moon is in her 3rd House but only 1 degree away from her IC, do I read my Moon as in her 3rd House or in her 4th house? I usually take it as my Moon has both influences in her 3rd and 4th House. Since our Moons conjunct, I can't separate the aspect from your theory too. Her Venus also being in her 4th House conjunct my Moon means I have too many aspects to sort out the different influences. It would be nice to hear the experiences of others on this. IP: Logged |

you will consider moon conjuct IC in this case.,...and this is way more potent than moon in IC....IC is a vvv sensitive pointIP: Logged |

Dazzled, I read an interesting book on houses a little bit ago and the author said that a planet at the beginning of the house is most definitely in that house and the strongest, a planet in the middle is the weakest and a planet at the end of a house should also be interpreted as in the next house (dual interpretation). It said to view houses as only the cusp LINE/point.I'm not sure if I really agree with that. Generally I give more weight to cadent houses more so than others so if it's in the 3rd but conjunct the IC or in the 12th conjunct the ASC, I read it as in the IC or ASC. IP: Logged |

I believe that the person whose house is being filled with the other's planets is the one being affectedalso Imum Coeli is the 4th house cusp, and is directly opposite the Midheaven which is the 10th house cusp. Altogether, they are an angular axis yeah...a 3rd house planet conjunct the Imum Coeli can be stronger than a 4th house planet conjunct the Imum Coeli because the former is an applying conjunction and the latter is a separating conjunction. It really depends on the orb of the aspect though. I would give a 4th house planet conjunct Imum Coeli within 1 degree more weight than a 3rd house planet conjunct Imum Coeli with 5 degree orb.
also...some people mistakenly refer to the Imum Coeli as nadir. Nadir is actually the opposite point of the zenith.
also..there is no such thing as a planet being in the Imum Coeli because a planet cannot be in an angle. It can be on the angle.
I was very affected by my exgf's Jupiter-Uranus in Sagittarius in my 3rd house conjunct my Jupiter-Imum Coeli, and I wanted to relocate to be with her. Her stationary Jupiter conjunct my Imum Coeli with 16 minutes of arc. Her stationary Neptune in Sagittarius was in my 4th house, and that had a strong influence too, especially with it being parallel my Imum Coeli with 4 minutes of arc.

Indeed, so for me that would mean.his Sun conjunct my Mars his Moon conjunct my Mars his Mercury conjunct my Mars his Venus conjunct my Venus his Mars conjunct my Jupiter his Jupiter conjunct my Jupiter his Saturn conjunct my Jupiter his Uranus conjunct my Neptune his Neptune conjunct my Mars his Pluto conjunct my Saturn his NN conjunct my Jupiter his ASC conjunct my Mercury his MC conjunct my Mars his DESC conjunct my Jupiter his IC conjunct my Venus his SN conjunct my Mercury his Vertex conjunct my Jupiter his Avx conjunct my Mercury and from his perspective my Sun conjunct his Jupiter my Moon conjunct his Neptune my Mercury conjunct his Jupiter my Venus conjunct his Saturn my Mars conjunct his Pluto my Jupiter conjunct his Neptune my Saturn conjunct his Sun my Uranus conjunct his Venus my Neptune conjunct his Jupiter my Pluto conjunct his Venus my NN conjunct his Jupiter my SN conjunct his Mercury my ASC conjunct his Pluto my DESC conjunct his Venus my MC conjunct his Venus my IC conjunct his Mars my Vertex conjunct his Sun my Antivertex conjunct his Uranus It is definitely an interestin way to "translate" housetranspositions.
