Can you guess what a person's Sun/Moon/Asc/MC/Mars signs are or whether they are predominantly fire/air/water/earth, just by observing they way they move/walk?

I am heavily Gemini-influenced (Sun/Venus/Mercury) and I am a brisk walker. I also move my arms/hands a lot when I'm talking. When I am just wandering around town, I tend to walk at a slower pace with my arms crossed over my chest (Cancer Asc). When in a hurry, however, I charge like a bull (Mars in Taurus)! I also have a mutable (bordering on cardinal) grand cross, which contributes to my energetic/high-strung mannerisms. My MC is in Aries, with Mars in the 10th house.

What does your own chart say about the way you move?

My friend Sarah calls me "Mary Poppins" because of the way I walk. Prim. Virgo asc.
Lots of mercury in my chart. I am quite nimble and have good balance. I am always doing something with my hands. After exercise I can seem quite "high" and crazed.
I have always had strong legs that don't seem to go with the rest of me. Mars in Taurus maybe?

I guessed my boyfriend's ascendant before I knew it - Capricorn. He can appear quite "stiff" and doesn't move his head much. Very straight back.

Hi wheelsofcheese,

As a Virgo Asc, are you more inclined to walk leisurely or quickly? Do you tend to swing your arms alot when you walk? What is your sun sign?

I walk really fast, short steps, with my head/chin up and have good posture. I noticed other Scorp ASCs walk fast too..and we're always kinda shifty eyed..noticing everything around us.

Ive been told a few times that I appear nonchalant when I move and that I "glide" when i walk. I don't exactly know whatthey mean, Maybe it seems like iI walk effortlessly.
Iam a capricorn-sun 1st house, Pisces-moon, mars virgo, venus-aquarius.

One more to add:

My hubby is a Sag rising, Cancer Sun, Libra Moon. He walks neither fast nor slow and always has his arms at his sides, never crossed. When standing still, he sometimes has his hands in his pockets. He's very observant of his surroundings... kinda shifty-eyed like augentier. Has Moon conjunct pluto in 10th.

Any cancer risings out there who have a habit of folding/crossing your arms? I suspect water signs are more likely to display cautious or defensive body language while fire signs are unguarded.

My movement depends on my mood. I walk fast when I am either angry or really excited. I walk slow dragging my feet, my head down, and keeping to myself when I am sad. I walk kinda zig-zag and taking a look at my surroundings when I am lost in thought.

It all depends.

I'd have to say my Cap rising moves.....smoothly......deliberately too.

Of course at other times I can move very quickly. Add coffee and running late to be somewhere and watch out. Youre likely to get plowed over.

Yeah definitely.

I have a militant walk, sometimes with top of body out forward. I walk in a straight line and very directly. I'm Aries rising.

Mr 23 is Cap rising and he is quite neat in his walking but controlled, always has head tilted in one direction when walking.

I walk very fast with big steps when I need to be somewhere, I don't have all the time in the world! If not, I still am a fast walker with pretty big steps. I also slouch, in which I have terrible upper back problems because of it, so lately I've been trying my hardest to stand straight, but it's difficult because I kind of naturally lead with my head. My hands swing as well, and if I'm not carring a purse or bag, I feel kind of awkward.

This gets interesting I think I walk smoothly most of the time, because of my Cap rising, but if its urgent I think my Aries Moon and Gemini Sun come out.

The way I walk depends on my mood, as well. Like when I'm depressed, I walk/feel like a zombie. LOL!

I have an Aqua rising square both my Scorpio Saturn and Taurus Mercury, oppose my Leo Moon, sextile my Aries Venus and trine my Gemini Mars.

It depends on what I'm doing.
When I'm tired I tend to walk in a drunken manner...my balance is off
When I'm feeling "normal" and energetic I walk quickly, with straight posture... I've been told I have a confident and powerful walk.
I talk with my hands, especially when I'm excited about something.
When I'm sitting I tend to cross my legs or just my ankles and I'll either put my hands in my pockets or cross my arms.

I have 6 planets in fire, Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto

3 planets in Air, one in Earth and no Water planets.

My Asc is Cancer my Mc is Aries
