Topic: Sun Pluto aspects and an attraction to crime/criminals

Does anyone have or know someone with this aspect in their natal that suffer from this or for some reason is a magnet for criminal people and draw them to themselves without trying or knowing why?IP: Logged |

Hi, my guy and I have sun sextile pluto, and he is a minister. He is very manipulative but he does it in a way that you really aren't angry ... you realize what just happened later. I don't know if the negative aspects between the sun and pluto actually indicate criminality but they do bring out more of a love-hate relationship. Of course when pluto aspects venus negatively and even positively, and probably any aspect with a personal planet such as the sun, pluto can't hide its ugly side of jealousy, secrecy, possessiveness, all that crazy stuff. It is probably a crime how intense the relationship can be at times, that's for sure! IP: Logged |

Sun conjunction Pluto I have natally and for some reason I attract power hungry people or control freaks, not so much criminal types(ok mabe once), just people who want to keep everything their way only. As far as past relationships go, they try to brainwash me into thinking everything I do in my life is wrong and listen to them because they are ALWAYS right. I try to avoid them the best I can, because my life ends up in turmoil if I don't  ------------------

I don't think people with this aspect attract aqnything. I think they just notice it. power games, manipulation, 'criminals' - are everywhere. everybody plays games in a relationship (ok, 99.9%). aspects between Sun (illuminating) and Pluto (power) make one aware and able to recognise such things, perceptive. I have the square. while at university, I also wanted to go for criminology. I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie's books. much of what a psychologist does is observe certain things and know what they mean. that's why aspects from Pluto to personal planets are many, many times interpreted as good for beng a pychologist. Pluto needs to understands, and sees the value of things deep-under. you seem to attract something bad when you denie it in yourself. like pretending to be honest while you manipulate your way - you 'attract' manipulative people. etc IP: Logged |

I have sun square pluto. I don't attract criminals, and usually if people are trying to be manipulative or negative I notice it. It's that gut feeling, I just know I need to avoid or get away from them.

Ok this can't just be a coincidence that so many with this are into criminology/criminal psycology. I very much am too. I have the conj 1 deg exact in libra. But I definately DO attract criminals. I seem to unconcously surround myself with dark, shady characters, and I'm not just talking about the occasional drug addict alcoholic that lives in the fast lane, I'm talking about bank robbers with semi automatic weapons, career criminals, very prison institutionalized people. Even been close to some murderers. Sometimes I wonder if I'm going to die violently myself or become a victim. Why am I expressing so much of the dark side of this aspect? Why am I fascinated with some of these people and why are they so automatically attracted to me? Is it this aspect alone that is bringing out such a deepli ingrained, dark and possibly dangerous response or is it this combined with other chart factors? I have been like this since I was a child. I'm female and these people I attract are mostly male. I have read several times that this aspect can cause this, and one of glenn perrys astrology tapes(sun pluto aspects and the underworld?) really goes into detail and stresses this attraction to the underworld that these aspects sometimes create.IP: Logged |

My 8th house Sun-Merc conjunction is semisquare my Pluto at a 1 degree orb. I'm not attracted to crime/criminals, but I am obsessed with getting to the bottom of things and understand the dark side, and people's deeper motivations.IP: Logged |

Here's an interesting side bit. Pluto is normally or stereotypically associated with the criminal activity. However, most criminals are people that refuse to take responsibility for their actions and are irresponsible, reckless people. Some are just downright inconsiderate. What aspects or placements do you think would be present for this type of behaviour? Saturn is the planet of responsibility and maturity. Would you say that Mars is irresponsible or at least reckless because it is the youngest? Or is it the Moon because it is opposed to Saturn? Would be it be an afflicted Moon or Mars or afflicted Sun? Thus if you could pinpoint what might influence bad behaviour, couldn't you then look to see what might be on the DC cusp or in the natal chart of the attractant? 23- Pluto on the DC, who coincidentally does not attract dodgy people as her Pluto is the ultimate poo detector!

Venus conjunct pluto here..I think the absolute number 1 attractor for me to a man would be that sense of mystery/danger/criminal/bad boy vibe.
I deviated from the badboy boyfriend once..and the nice sweet good guy thing was so boring to me..i couldnt keep my interest peaked.. (it didnt last long). My ultimate male archetype is Michael Corleone- Al pacino "the don" in the godfather. Gotta love a powerful man. My friends say my future is destined to be like Carmela Soprano.
My present boyfriend and I have sun conjunct pluto in scorpio and definitly get into our share of trouble together and seem to lean towards all sort of excesses and non responsible behaviour when we are together.
Meanwhile it seems like my whole highschool graduating class is now married or engaged and I am going from one drama to another.

Good thread.Sun conjunct Pluto in the second house of values, here. I don't seem to attract criminals, because I have this thing where I sense people who have a tendency to live this type of lifestyle, which some how wards them off. Silently: "Get the hell away from me. Don't even think of taking advantage." However, I am fascinated by a person's motivation and past experiences. Why do some people who experience the same or similar background express themselves in a positive manner over one who drifts into a life of "what ifs". Do they even try to change their life around? The big question: Was there ever anyone in their corner who encouraged a life of integrity? I love reading and watching true crime shows. The documentaries. I've never seen an episode of CSI. Although I adore Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Det. Goren is my hero! ------------------

Ive got Sun Trine Pluto and i do attract criminals of all different types, well not just criminals but all different types of colourful characters that shifty and are unusual in a plutonian way. Its quite interesting. I attract all different types of ppl And with jupiter in my 11th house rules by Aquarius, i have lots of friends, associates and acquantices IP: Logged |
