Hi Bibi,

In the video she says she's 47, but then I also saw in 1 interview where she says she's nearly 48. Then I saw another interview where she said that she is 48.

Looking at her face and the fact that she has a large neck, I'm guessing she has some Taurus in her. Taurus was my first thought when looking at her build. But if she's already 48 between last Saturday and...yesterday, I don't think any planets have reached Taurus in 1961. I'm too sleepy to look it up now as I should really be in bed, but just wanted to give you my thoughts on it. I can't wait to see what her birth data is.

I also thought that at 47 she could be having a very late Semi-Square Solar Arc. That's such a powerful arc in one's life, it just makes sense to me.

Her mother died 2 years ago, that actually happened when she really was 45 years old. I was thinking a transit of Jupiter-Venus or Jupiter-Sun. But I'm also thinking that Pluto and Uranus have to be involved in terms of the power and the huge surprise.

When I did a test chart yesterday I noticed that around this time in 1961, Venus was very close to Saturn in Aries. That could suggest her vocal skills and also her mention of having never been kissed...

When thinking of her I get the image of a priestess in mid-millenium in Britain. The virgin priestess who used her voice for healing and boy what a healing she has performed on the world. She has ripped the scab off of our cynicism in a major way. Of course, it won't last but she's making the most hardened people cry. She's giving people hope, healing outright bitterness all over the planet. She's the number one posted subject on Twitter and it's amazing to watch the numbers.

OK, I'm gonna shut up now and get in the bed.

She was born April 1 1961. She was born with Venus retrograde, and she did well for herself during this soon to be ending Venus retrograde transit, proving that if you're born with a particular energy, it CAN works well for you even if others have a hard time with it.

GeoCosmic, yep, she has a natal conjunction of Venus and Saturn, which can translate as a fear of relationship.

Regarding her voice, in her natal, she has a beautiful grand trine involving Mercury, Mars and Neptune, which could confer a heavenly voice.

I would love to know her exact time of birth, because there is definitely something Uranian here at play and I am not quite seeing it from the chart without an exact time of birth and ascendant.

Hi Belage,

I'm confused. Does anyone know if the show "Britain's Got Talent" is broadcast live or even broadcast on the same day? The reason I ask is because I assumed it's broadcast live or at least on the same day.

In the video she mentions that she is 47, but during one of the segments that shows the "behind the scenes" questioning, she says, "I'm 47, nearly 48."

So I'm thinking that if the show is broadcast live, she was 47 last Saturday, the 11th. How could her birthday be April 1st?

I have seen interviews since where she says she is 48, which made me think that her birthday was some time during this week but after the 11th. Can someone shed some light on this? When do they broadcast the show?

I know that here in the states, the TV show "American Idol" is broadcast live (maybe with a slight delay). At least it is broadcast on the same day it's filmed. That's my understanding.

Belage, can you tell us your source for her birthdata? I'm kind of an obsessive about birth data. Thanks.

GV, various sites listed her dob as April 1, 1961, so i just went with that. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/dominccavendish/blog/2009/04/17/susan_boyle_is_a_freakcase_not_the_future

http://horoscopes.suite101.com/article.cfm/susan_boyle_horoscope_and_brief_biography

In Wikipedia, (I know it's not gospel, lol), they say that she performed her rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" on 11 April 2009. She would have been 48 at that time, and not 47 as she stated unless she made a mistake. I occasionally make mistakes on my own age, lol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Boyle

So I guess we'll have to see until a more definitive dob comes across.

Thanks, Belage. I was thinking the same thing, too, about when you turn a certain age, you get so used to saying your current age that you forget to say it when you finally have your birthday. I'm in that process now. LOOOOL!!!

I'm going to check out these articles now. Thanks again.

Wikipedia also says that the original talent show and audition was recorded in Scotland in January 2009. That would explain the parts where she says"I'm 47, nearly 48". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Boyle

Wow, Belage! You work fast. Thanks so much. So, this is even more interesting than it was before. I was wondering about the video because when you watch it, does anyone notice how their playing the music over the critics comments? And notice how the music comes to a crescendo when Simon issues his final "Yes" to her. It all just seemed to come together so perfectly, all the editing seems to flow so nicely. They really did create and manufacture this moment long before the original show played.

You gotta hand it to 'em, those British editors got Talent.

Once again, thank you, Belage. I now feel much more comfortable with that birthdate and we can see the difference between her actual performance in January in her chart and then her being pushed into the spotlight 3 months later in April. That should all show up in her chart in that order. Brilliant!!

YEs i agree! I think everyone could use an uplifting experience, and she sure has provided many with one.

I would be interested to know exactly what would account for a such drastic life change like what happened to her, if it can be found in her chart.

You're welcome GC.

By the way, I found your comments interesting about the way the show was set up, and I also have my suspiction that this was staged.

If this show is anything like the American show, before ANY contestant gets to sing before a big audience like she did, he/she first has to go through the preliminary auditions where the judges hear him/her in a close chamber and decide if the person is going to move forward. I can't see them giving a big audience to any joe tom dick and harry who comes and say they can sing. So, I do not believe that this was the first the judges heard her sing. Especially since there was music in the background. In the US, when the contestants are heard for the first time, they sing without background music.

But hey, maybe they do things differently over there.

I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that they do it different over there. When you see the opening of the seqment of the audition, you see her in a room with a bunch of other assorted types that seem to be waiting their turn, including her.

You can also see that the theatre is very small, Simon might be able to pull more strings in Britain than in the U.S. in order to get a real theatre to hold auditions in. It certainly makes for a much better visual than what they do for "American Idol" auditions. If we had access to the "Britain's Got Talent" bad audition segments, maybe we'd know the answer or if some of our British friends here can let us know if they ordinarily do auditions for this show in a theatre or in hotel convention suites like they do here in the U.S.

I also noticed that they press a button to start the music she begins to sing to. I wonder if it's a karoake tape as she mentioned that she sings karoake quite a bit. There are some pretty great karoake tapes and CD's out there. Also, if you have heart the other song she recorded that is now floating around the internet, the music production sounds very similar. It's a good quality, yet elegantly simple. The song is "Cry Me A River" and she sounds pretty good on it.

My questions begin when she is finished with the song and then the judges begin speaking, that's when I wonder where the music is coming from. I highly doubt that it's coming from her tape and there is no orchestra or musicians to be seen. So, that brings us back to the editing room for "BGT". Truth be told, I really don't mind being manipulated a little bit. I think everyone can use a little musical polish and I don't fault them one bit for adding a dash of magic and a touch of drama. I loved it. I love having a Capra-esque feeling, I eat it right up.

I vote that it was a pure audition moment, with some special enhancement production to add a few little "Disney sparkles" to the TV version. A little Spielberg action never hurt nobody.

GCV, my husband just watched her for the first time now, and he had tears in his eyes. I didn't expect to see him tear up. lol. Imma gonna keep my trap shut and not dissect this anymore. It's magic. lol

I think there is something Uranian (out of the blue, took everyone by surprise) and Neptunian (celestial voice) happening here, I would love to get a look at her chart.

Aaaaaaaawww!!! That's so sweet. You're right, it really is magic, no matter what they did to create it at least it's bringing everyone immense joy.

If you go to twitter.com and go down to the bottom of the page, click on the word "search" and it brings up another page that has the Twitter Search on it. You'll also see the top searches on Twitter and Susan Boyle's name is there, it's been number one for a few days. If you click on her name, it brings up a page of the most recent twitters where people have tweeted about her and you'll see that the most unlikely people all over the world are attaching the link to the video and talking about how much they love the video and her singing and you see the toughest looking men talking about how the video brought them to tears. It's kind of funny in a way that people you wouldn't expect are in love with this video and it's in all different languages.

Not only that, automatically shows you how many new people have just tweeted about her and it's immediate. It gives you a real time feeling of how people all over the world are watching the video and blogging about it. It's soooo wild.

Wow, GCV. That's amazing. Again, I will be looking to see how Uranus and Neptune show up in her chart. Neptune can bring people to tears.

Just in case you didn't know, Susan Boyle's official birth data has been revealed through her official birth records in Bathgate, Scotland. A few wonderful British astrologers on the Astro.com forum did the legwork by calling and writing to the registrar's office and were given the information.
