Hi everyone,Looking at my chart, can anyone see if there are any aspects that indicate healing qualities? If so, which ones? Feel free to share your own charts and aspects. I'd like to get a discussion going on this subject. cheers!

Two aspects pop out at me, Nigel.Moon conjunct Chiron, which would necessitate a certain amount of personal emotional pain and healing, that could be passed on to humanity at large (11th house placement). Venus conjunct Pluto, which Donna Cunningham says "when used constructively relationships can become an area for transformation, both for the self and the loved one...when these people heal their relationship difficulties and learn to let go, this placement would also become a good counselor, particularly marriage counselor..." Your Venus/Pluto conjunction is especially potent since it is in Scorpio. ------------------ "The only way out is through" ---Robert Frost Pluto conjunct Sun & ASC Pluto sextile Mars Pluto square MC 1st house Scorpio Stellium: Moon, Venus, Uranus and Mercury. I would look at the following asteroids for finetuning: Hygeia named after the Greek Goddess of Health Asclepius named after the Greek God of Medicine Aesculapia named after the Roman counterpart of Asclepius Hippokrates named after an ancient Greek doctor Reiki (yeah...there is an asteroid called Reiki) Panacea named after the Greek Goddess of Healing Apollo named after the God of Light who was also the God of Healing, father of Asclepius
you can calculate the asteroids and their nodes here http://www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/pos/

Yes, like someone said above..Moon conj chiron sticks out. Also, noticed the almost exact sun/uranus(electric effect on people) conj opposite chiron. i think you are sensitive to a generational group of people. i know with some ages of people opposing/squaring my planets, really makes me avoid that group.

yeah.....Vesta relates to service mainly...seems very Virgo-like.also Ceres can be involved too because it's associated with nurturing. those 2 major asteroids are what I would check out in the charts of healers Pallas might also be involved with counselors with it seeming to be more of a mental asteroid. It seems to be associated with creative intelligence and pattern recognition. Psyche is an asteroid that could pertain to psychology, psychiatry, and psychic work Raymond

thanks for the responses!Plutonian Persona - What you mentioned makes a lot of sense. The Moon conj Chiron has been troubling for me because I have the tendency to over extend myself in helping others.. thereby forgetting to tend to my own needs. I have trouble healing myself I guess.. which is what I'd like to work on. I'll then be able to heal others better. Venus conj pluto is a big one for sure. I definitely find healing through relationships. However, as described above, I mainly heal the other person and get myself wound up in their issues. Glaucus - I'm not too sure how to use the link you provided.. can you give me some help in finding out my asteroid placements? I'm only familiar with the basic planets.
Koi - thanks! I am looking into Vesta. That page has a lot of info which is awesome. Writesomething - Your point about my electric effect on people is bang on.. i always get told i have a unique, attractive energy. However, I had never thought about the possibility of being sensitive to a generation... which generation would apply to me? thats interesting!

People in your age group, and people in 1960s(chiron in pisces) will most likely be a group that feels touchy/emotional/possibly painful for you. IP: Logged |

Dont really do this healing lark, but sounds like an 8th house matter. You got 8th ruler, Neptune, conjunct Sun, 1st ruler. Seems pretty good.IP: Logged |

I was going to guess people in my own age group but yeah... I don't get along with people my age. I like people about 10 years older than me! Thanks for that info cause I never looked at my chart that way.Coffee - nice observation! I always seem to ignore my Neptune cause it's all alone in an earth sign.. nothing like the rest of my chart. But since it rules my 8th it must have significance. Especially tying into the pluo/scorpio transformational stuff everyone else was talking about!

Nigel,I'm glad that I provided a useful post for you! I know how powerful those Chiron aspects can be, as I have my Moon/Venus conjunction opposed by Chiron. There's nothing like being horrible at relationships and feeling tremendous pain through them, but having a knack for helping others in their relationships. I still don't know how anyone would cope with a Venus/Pluto conjunction in Scorpio; my Scorpio Venus is hard enough on me! IP: Logged |

Plutonian - nice to see another Scorpio Venus! Isn't that a fun placement? haha. How are you in relationships?I think the trine from Mars conjunct Jupiter helps me cope with the Venus/Pluto.. it's like whenever I get really down I get picked right back up. So I'm thankful! koi - here's what your link told me:
Vesta In Aries the Warrior Queen/Priestess - bringing courage, bravery and sometimes a bit of rash LETS GO FOR IT RIGHT NOW into your life this lifetime. Vesta in Aries is the most powerful energy of healing self and of showing others the wisdom and the bravery of self care. FIRE and passion are the gifts of this sign. So I guess I do need to heal myself to show others how it's done.. instead of focusing so much on just them. This is really good to know because that's what I've started doing lately and I feel better already. IP: Logged |

go to this page and just add the asteroids http://www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/add/ then go to this page and put all your birthdata http://www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/pos/ put a check in the box where it says "show bodies" and then type in the asteroids put checks on the boxes NNode for North Node SNode for South Node then submit for heliocentric Nodes
where it says Center, change to heliocentric put checks on the boxes for NNode and SNode then submit I hope that helps

What really stands out to me is the Moon conjunct Chiron aspect, like it was previously mentioned. And Chiron sextiles the North Node, too. Wow!Well, since the Moon and Chiron are in the 11th house, this could probably point to healing abilities that are used in a social context and that are based on empathy, so the most obvious option here is counseling of some sort. And the N. North is in the 9th house, which would indicate spiritual teaching as well? Just supposing here. IP: Logged |
