I'm having awesome fun exploring the past (70s at the moment) and some of them I would now consider my favourite bands. Not sure if "new" music means that.

I love early Roxy Music most.
Otherwise, I'm listening to Brian Eno, David Bowie, Krafterwerk, Gary Numan, Emerson Lake and Palmer. I bought a Chic CD the other day and I'll have a listen to that soon.

I wish I was a teenager when this stuff was out, seriously awesome.

Im like 23, listen to lots of older stuff.
That and anything at all.

Some albums:

Moon Safari - Air (Chill/Ambient, I guess)
Hail To The Thief - Radiohead (Maybe call it Rock)
Simple Things - Zero 7 (Similar to Air)

Favourite Song is asking too much on a Saturday morning/afternoon. Likely to be one of the big artists like: Beatles, Michael Jackson, Green Day, Queen...that type.

Air, ALL the way. "Venus" is my favorite song of all time.

Sublime (rarities) Slightly Stoopid,Peter Tosh, oh and Daniel Johnston, Royksopp, Aaliyah (timeless), and Britney Spears (slow songs off of Circus) is what I've been listening to lately.

I just want to learn about any kind of music...I feel like I've listened to it all already.

Ever since Jupiter entered my fifth house, I've been into matchbox 20 a lot lately. I looked up Rod Thomas' birth chart, and he has a stellium in my fifth house. lol

AAAHHH! Too many! Sure you want to know?

First things first;

Then...

Follow me - Rory Gallagher
Moondance - Van Morrison
Oh Well, Landslide, Dreams, and many others - Fleetwood Mac
Sunrise, Don't Know Why, Creepin' In - Norah Jones
Old Love, Layla - Eric Clapton (more so than Derek & the Dominoes)
Hey Jude, Blackbird - the Beatles
Runaway, So Young, When The Stars Go Blue, and many, many others - the Corrs
The Unforgettable Fire, Bad, Love and Peace Or Else, In A Little While, Breathe, and so many more - U2
Just My Imagination - the Cranberries
Sophia, Idaho, Learning To Breathe, Everybody's Going To War - Nerina Pallot
Panic, How Soon Is Now?, This Charming Man, and a few more - the Smiths
Won't Get Fooled Again, Substitute - the Who
Past The Point Of Rescue - Mary Black
Sympathy For The Devil, Paint It Black, Ruby Tuesday - the Rolling Stones
Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield
Brothers In Arms, Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
Mushaboom, 1234 - Feist

Well, you asked...

And those were only just the ones in my CD-collection. I've so many CD's I still need to buy so a lot of my favourite songs aren't even on here!

Oooh, Deftones. How could I forget. Everything off the B-Sides and Rarities album, and everything on White Pony. Feiticeira, Teenager, Hole in the Earth, Change (In the House of Flies) are my favorites.

And Aqueous Transmission by Incubus. Beautiful.

The Deftones were my favorite band when I was 11-14. I loved the album Around the Fur.

Songs I really love right now:
Alphabeat - Digital Love (Daft Punk cover)
Air - Napalm Love (Radio Krome remix)
Royksopp - Happy Up Here (Boys Noize remix)

And since it's summer I've been listening to a lot of Taking Back Sunday and Brand New.

Amowls! I'm in love with that Happy Up Here remix. Most amazing piece of electronica in a while. Didn't think anyone knew of it, I'm enthralled.

Yeah Yeah Yeah's new album, "It's Blitz", incredible. I'm obsessed with "Heads Will Roll".
