I also have not followed the meaning of South Node, but since you ask for relativity between my childhood, and more recent, I can say that my young childhood was fun etc and certainly more fun than now, and now is only 16years in, but I'm definitely not having the time of my life, I'm restricting myself from social mingling and am just like.. I logically understand that my position is fine, and that I could do anything to get with anybody and am not incompetent at all, but it's like my body isn't listening, and stubbornly cares SO MUCH that it's not going to take the stupidest risk.

I was incredibly social as a child and teenager to the point that I traveled in mobs. I have two brothers and I have conversations with them regularly.

As an adult, I shun larger groups unless it's a special occasion. I find it easy to live my NN and life goes easier when I let stressful things just slide by me as I'm having fun.

Gemini SN is a bit the skeptic, constantly gathering information, looking at things from all angles, not having or showing the faith that s/he has enough information to procede.

I have south node in Gemini, but I cannot really explain or understand what it means for me. I had tons of siblings, but even though I loved them, I didn't feel close to them. But that couldn't possibly be all there is to my Gemini South Node...

I have been feeling the effects of NN in Sagg for a while now. I have more respect for higher education and higher learning than I had when I was much younger.

Come to think of it, even though I read a lot and did well in school, I didn't value higher education. I went to college but I was more interested in taking classes that interested me than in following a particular curriculum to get a degree. Like a butterfly going from one subject to another.

So I guess for me, I didn't feel my Gemini South Node until I went to College, and all during my 20s. Then I started moving away from it when I got in my 30s.

I have Gemini SN in the 6th house, Sag NN in the 12th...I have DEFINITELY moved more toward my NN as I get older.

I've always had huge respect for Sag/12th house things--higher ed, philosophy, travel adventure (Sag), dreams, mysticism, the unconscious (12th)...but it used to be more my default to overthink, overanalyze, get nit-picky.

When I LET GO, live in the moment, and go with the flow, the world rewards me with much, much more luck. My Jupiter is in Pisces so when I play out that 12th house Sag NN I am also "Doing my Jupiter", which is never a bad idea.

Also I am a draconic Saggie.
