Im a bit worried about the mars opposing ASC in the DC- could point to a lot of aggression young that isnt balanced. He might lash out at others(7th/DC), so make sure he curbs his aggression. I would say this pup wont grow up to be a people's dog..like anyone just pet him. Moon in aries...enough said. A lot of energy and when he gets bored, he'll probably do anything to get your attention..barking at 1 am or tearing thru your belongings. taurus will give him a big appetite...try to keep him away from the neighbors dog because hes going to be a horny little bugger with venus/mars aries and jupiter in the 5th.IP: Logged |

It's a shame cos he is extremely well bred and the only breed that is renowned for it's temperament IP: Logged |

What bread is it?I have a Leo ACD (Australian Cattle Dog) and I managed when she was a puppy. Those things are hell on four when they are young, I kid you not! Any other bread is calmer than them! Words of caution: If you've never had dogs before, it would be a huge adjustment, regardless of the breed so be prepared. Puppies need to be housebroken, trained in basic commands and fed on a strict schedule. You will also have multiple vet bills in the first 6 months, maybe training school bills etc. I have 2 dogs BTW. IP: Logged |

Oh, wow, a strong breed. Do you know what you are getting yourself into? I just did a little research - they are chewers and also very active. They look adorable too! IP: Logged |

yeah i've had dogs all my life. I am hoping that the kids will play with him all day long and exhaust him! In return he will be protective and loving toward them.Staffy's are the most reliable dogs for kids. I have some help with training and the breeder is socializing him like crazy. She has 5 kids and 6 dogs!!! IP: Logged |

Cool! So you do know. I had no idea what life with dogs would be like before I got my cuddle bugs. I've been a cat person all my life. Now I am definitely a dog person! LOL!IP: Logged |

I think that if you give him all the exercise and chew toys he needs, he will be OK. I don't know how old your kids are and how busy your life is, but you've already had dogs before so you know what you are in for.Seeing how my mom ended up doing all the chores with my cats when I was growing up, I'd say think hard before you commit to taking care of 3 kids AND a puppy! But again, you know best! IP: Logged |

Wouldn't be the best puppy to buy - he'll be a handful definitely, based on all that Aries (moon and mars) and a taurus mercury, which I know from experience in doggies, makes for a VERY STUBBORN DOG. Add to that all the Aries and you'll have a stubborn, violent little dog. Add to that the Pluto square Mars and you're very likely to get yourself a dog that will bottle things up and when it gets to much, lets all of his anger explode like a volcano. He'll need a LOT of training to avoid this behaviour, and training takes up a lot of time. So with 3 kids in tow I can imagine he'll be too much for you - or anyone for that matter - to handle. My dad made the same mistake with their current dog; now they have a stubborn, posessive and territorial little hell on paws who will bite even his most beloved owner when they try to push him off the sofa. He has a similar chart to your puppy. His birthday is soon actually, come to think of it...
edit: oh my god, it's a staffy... DEFINITELY put him through intensive training, then. They are hunting dogs, now mostly used for dog fighting; what I said up here is about dogs in general but goes up twice for these dogs. Especially since there is a huge chance that you might get one who was originally bred for dog fighting, which makes them extremely dangerous by nature.
If you want a staffy, you'd be better off going for a leo dog. They wouldn't harm a fly without any intensive training. IP: Logged |
