I wonder what the band members charts look like...

They are so very good and innovative, and a bit strange too.

they were (i guess they are still making music now?) a Krautrock band from the 60s and the 70s (at least i don't know their newer stuff), very experimental. i'm not a big fan but they had a lot of influence to the Western rock music. i guess that's pretty cool.

Really? Not a big fan? Why not?

What albums did you try? I am interested.

Tago Mago is not the most accessible but is easily one of the most genius albums of all time and also, one of the most eclectic and experimental. Soon Over Babaluma is more accessible and still very good and Future days is the most accessible and also legendary. I think that is my favorite in fact. But that trio rounds out the best part of their career, 1971-1974. There is also Ege Bamyasi (1972) which is supposed to be really really good but I have yet to hear it. Monster Movie from 69 is supposed to be pretty good too.

i dunno, i've never heard of their songs album-specific... i just know what they sound like and it's not really my style... but i respect their impact on the music world of the time though. i'm very much into experimental post punk period of the 80s and they surely played a role there.

One of my favourite bands

Tago Mago is pure brilliance, Ege Bamyasi is varied, bombastic and flighty - thoroughly enjoyable, Future Days is hypnotic and makes perfect midnight music.

I'm 21, so this is considered somewhat strange. But then so is all my musical taste.

My musical taste is strange too.

And future days is one of the most hypnotic albums I have listened to.

Soon Over Babaluma is kind of flighty, all over the place and even a little raw, in a good way. But I like the word flighty to describe one or two of their albums.

CAN is great.
