anyone ever feel that when you're feeling insecure or don't know how to act in cdertain situations, or trying to bring out the venus or mars into your personality, it never works. but it's much more easier to deal with all this when you act like your moon sign? i've kinda been realising this, that when i embrace the qualities my moon, i feel much more comfortable and "at home" then acting as my sun or whatever.and i feel that maybe most insecurities and worries generate from not embracing the moon, so for example someone with a Cancer moon may act all tough and cold, 'cause they may see that their emotional side may be a downfall for them. but instead, actually using thse qualities may make you a much more rounded person and more yourself. i have a Leo moon, and i feel very wimpish and i'm always at the back, never participating but always looking at others who are upfront and dynamic, and wish that i could be like that. i think it was my moon calling out and saying "JUST BE LIKE ME!!" and i was too afraid to. but now i feel that the more i take on the qualities of my Leo moon, the more confident and happy i feel. i feel my self-esteem go up the roof, and i'm quite liking it. i like taking up space, for my own area, rather than wondering if there's enough space for others, or also being more dramatic rather than conservative and wondering if they may find my dramatic side a bit weird. i don't really care if they do now, because i've embraced my moon, and this is who i am, like it or not. I know how that feels like But my moon opposes my venus+mars so I can't get anything done if I don't shut it occasionally IP: Logged |

yeah, i would agree with that. i have a taurus moon and lucky me, it squares my sun. i find when i don't look for others/stuff/theories to ground me, and i just let myself feel totally grounded and calm, and physically relaxed, i am really able to be myself. and be a groundING influence.mannequin, where are your sun and mercury? i'm curious! I usually have to moderate my Aries moon, otherwise it can be highly problematic. It's cathartic enough to express the emotions and all, but I think the moon can be our reactions....and reactions aren't always great depending on the situation. It feels good to express it though. I think just learning how to integrate it is the hard part. I envy those people who have moons that are harmonious with their suns. IP: Logged |

I agree with this! Quiet, analytical, independent, and just getting on with daily life (virgo moon) is more me than emotional expression and clingy dependency (cancer sun). IP: Logged |

ugh...I've embraced my libra moon to the point we could call it a choke hold...all to the detriment of my capricorn sun.Problem with a libra moon is that your security starts and ends with other people, specifically your significant other. And while most people can "do" their moon on their own, a libra moon can't control the significant other...I can only go out and try to find pleasant other people to be around if my other is being a pooper. my sun is in Libra, my mercury is in Virgo.for those with hard aspects to their moon, you should learn to incorporate it so you use the best qualities your moon has to offer, instead of using it to your disadvantage. IP: Logged |
