May be a stupid question? I know we look to the ruler rising Tarus = ruler venus but apparently you also look to the planet that would be in exalhtation in that sign, does that mean the planet ( moon = exhault in tarus ) could also act as a ruler? What David Kemp says in interview http://revver.com/video/625766/astrology-lesson-2008/ Did I misunderstand what he was saying ? IP: Logged |

Yeah, I never heard of doing that either. It sounds like an interesting thing to experiment with...but not that interesting. It's funny, two of the examples he gave are exactly what I have in my chart. I have Sun in Aries, I have Jupiter in Cancer but I also have Moon in Cancer, so it might be hard to experiment with my own chart. I wouldn't worry about it. It might reveal a little extra information, but my God, there's tons of it anyway without having to look at a 2nd significator for each sign. Gee whiz, I'm busy enough. IP: Logged |

Gee whiz, I'm busy enough I would think that it might be interesting to investigate. Especially if it made good aspects in synastry. IP: Logged |

Had a good laugh at that. It's like every time I open a thread in Astro2 it sends me on a research tangent for hours at a time. IP: Logged |
