it seems as though it isn't the greatest place to have a stellium in, since there will be alot of health problems? i constantly have headaches, and runny noses, and find it hard to gain weight. this also suggests that i should be very work-oriented, but i don't seem to have a work ethic, or maybe i haven't worked in the right place yet?

anyone know what this also implies? 'cause i cpuld rather do without the health issues and workaholic behaviour.

I have a 6th house stellium and my health is great. I used to get sick a lot when I was a kid.
I think a 6th house stellium can make a body sensitive, not sick necessarily, forcing you to be more conscious of how you treat your body.
But a sensitive body is not a bad thing. And a strong 6th house can also be good at healing others as well.

I am also very work-oriented. But yes, it has a lot to do with working on what you like or love. If I'm not doing what I like, I don't want to work.

What planets have you got in there, and in what sign? If Neptune is in there it might give you a heightened sensitivity, even weird allergies.

I guess that it depends on how your stellium is aspected in the chart, and also what sign it is in.

But I wonder if ethics in work should have more to do with the 10th house, while the 6th house is more focused on daily routine and servicing others?

MyVirgoMask - i have the 6th house in my Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars.

comica - i have Sun and Mars in Libra, Moon in Leo, and Mercury in Virgo. Sun and Mars square Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn.

and i agree, i really wouldn't want to work in a place where i couldn't be myself or enjoy what i was doing. i need things to do which i like constantly, otherwise i become a deadly mute with no soul.

That's an interesting question Mannequin, as to whether it a 6th house stellium would make someone have not enough motivation and concentration. Sounds like me. As for my health, I haven't ever been that healthy my whole life so far and suffered from severe allergies and psychological problems, strep throat (is what I'd usually get), most of all I have problems with metabolizing & detoxifying my body...My pores get clogged very easily and I suffer from digestive problems. And I'm only 21, eat healthfully, excercise. I find yoga and lifting dumbbells to be most helpful.

And I also have workaholic behavior... lol At home and at work, basically with all I do, I can get somewhat obsessive with keeping things orderly, etc.

ok, i've now realised 6th house carries alot of stress, and i think most of my migraines and neck pains and anxiety issues have derived from uneccesary stress.

how does one deal with this? i mean i would do yoga, but i'm way too fidgety and antsy to do anything of the sort (Aries rising).

I listen to New Age,meditation music all the time. It's very relaxing.

you might want to get Lavender oil which is said to be for calming.

There is also herbal teas like Chamomile that also helps relieve stress. Kava Kava, Valerian Root, St. John's Wort,Skullcap, and Lemon Grass are also for calming and relieving stress.

I have Moon in Pisces in 6th square the opposition of traditional 6th house ruler, retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th and Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd
also oppose Saturn/Neptune midpoint aka the chronic illness midpoint

I have Mars in Aquarius in 6th square Venus in Scorpio in 3rd and Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd.

6th house ruler Uranus unaspected in Libra in 2nd

I also have Virgo Ascendant

6th house is also technical ability.

My husband has Jupiter in this house and is a case in point. It's why he has such a high-powered career, he has technical skills that employers need. Also he is Virgo Rising, and here we have Virgo's natural home. Virgo is skillful and precise, often artistic.

6th house I also associate with natural medicine and fitness. Virgo is Mutable Earth, the Harvester, working with the Earth's resources in a practical and responsible way.

" Virgo is Mutable Earth, the Harvester, working with the Earth's resources in a practical and responsible way. "

That makes me think of the dwarf planet,Ceres named after the Roman Goddess of the Harvest.

The Greeks saw The Virgo Constellation as Demeter, the Greek counterpart of Ceres.

Ceres' heliocentric North Node is in Gemini, and its Perihelion (the point of the object's orbit closest to the Sun) is in Virgo

therefore, Ceres might have a mental, intellectual quality that might be overlooked

I believe that Ceres could be a good ruler for Virgo. Mercury and Ceres as co-rulers as Virgo would seem to fit.

If 6th House is Virgo's natural home you CANNOT have difficulty concentrating or motivating yourself. You should be having very strong critical analytical ability and an obsessive eye for details.

Confusion and lack of concentration are Neptunian Piscean traits, which I know should match the 6th House perfectly, but textbook astrology will disagree.

So first know yourself thoroughly and then check which Astrological House system fits.
Check your feet as well, check your effects to alcohol. 6th House will not respond too well to prescription medicines in my studies, they prefer natural healing and naturopathy. Prescription Medicines = Virgo = 12th House in my research.
Check if you have very vivid dreams and strong psychic/intuitive empathy/feel for things.

MyVirgoMask, i would love to try martial arts, but i guess i'm not confident enough to go and do it, exactly. i'd love to do kickboxing.

thanks everyone for the suggestiobs.

iQ, i do have vivid dreams and strong feelings, sometimes i wake up in a daze as if i was just teleported from the place in my dream to my bed. my dreams feel very very real. and i have been taking precription medicinw, and you're right, it doesn't really have a great effect on me.

i don't drink alcohol, but my feet are pretty hard skinned, and the toes aren't exactly straight. i don't know what this means though.

Sounds like you have poor circulation...
Drink lots of water, do a lot of stretches (I find yoga to alleivate poor circulation), and martials is great too. You should look into a gym membership where the gym offers classes. I go to both my yoga and kickboxing classes. Would save you money that way than to enroll in classes separately at different places.
I also have a 6th house stellium by the way.

thanks for the advice! i joined a yoga class, which i start soon, but can't find any kick boxing classes, they have Tae Kwon Do though, i might take that up! and i have started to drink a lot more water, mostly because of the extreme HEAT, but it seems to make me feel more active and enegectic, which is awesome. i underestimated the effects of water.

Mannequin,

The hard Neptune aspects to the Sun and Mars in 6th are modifying the traits of the 6th house

that's why you are having Pisces traits that don't go with the 6th house like problems with concentration and motivation

6th house house planets in hard aspect to Neptune can indicate hard to pin down, misdiagnosed health problems as well as hypersensitivity to medications, and so need half the dosage of medication or prefer natural health remedies like herbs, essential oils.

you Sun-Mars square Neptune alone can indicate that any way.........in Cosmobiology,Sun is the body, and so hard aspect to Neptune can indicate extremely sensitive body. Hard Mars-Neptune aspects tend indicate problems with muscle weakness and infections.

hard Neptune aspects can indicate problems with immune system....like a highly sensitive immune system, and so pick up viruses like a sponge

your vivid dreams, psychism, intuition can be indicated by your Neptune aspects too

I would say that with Sun-Mars in 6th house square Uranus-Neptune, she needs to be in a work environment that is nonlinear, nonroutine. 9-5 jobs don't seem right for you.

I can see how there might not be a strong work ethic with the Sun-Mars square Uranus-Neptune. Also...her Sun-Mars square Saturn could probably indicate that you have overworked before and not getting paid enough for all the work you do.

You're probably better off self employed.

You might make a good activist, fighting for progressive changes ,driven by passionate idealism.

any ways...it's always important to check the aspects to the planets in the house that they are in, the planetary energy from the aspects modifies the house activity.

Tae Kwon Do is supposed to be great. I know 2 people with Mars in the 6th and they're into martial arts... they love it. I think kickboxing is great, but Tae Kwon Do is probably really good for confidence and inner discipline as well. That Mars in the 6th is probably going to want to express itself in a disciplined way.

Sounds like you're going to be just fine

I got 3 planets in the 6th house, which gets me really nervous now (which is also one of the downside about the 6th house lol)

I got Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all in Capricorn and all in the 6th house

My saturn squares mercury, opposites jupiter, sextiles venus and conjuncts neptune and uranus
Uranus is square Moon, mars and sextile uranus, conjunction saturn and neptune
And finally my neptune is squaring Mercury, conjunction uranus and saturn

So they are all pretty badly aspected, which means I probably get the bad effects from the 6th house... which again means health issues I assume? And problems with everyday life?

And as I see it, a badly aspected Saturn in 6th house = problems with work
A badly aspected Uranus in 6th house = problems with erratic behavior at work, problems with following authorities at work, health issues that comes up all of a sudden
A badly aspected Neptune in 6th house = health issues, maybe even mental ones, a problem with time scedules at work, a problem with keeping a job and doing a task in general, concentration problems, a sensitive body with weird illnesses

So OKAY this means I'm totally f***** or what?

Wtf can I do about this???

I have a 6th house stellium in Scorpio/ Libra and my health is great aside from asthma when I was very young.

Sun in Scorpio
Moon in Libra
Mercury in Scorpio
Venus in Scorpio
Jupiter in Scorpio
Pluto in Scorpio
Vertex in Libra

ALL in the 6th house.

Jupiter is at 0 degrees right on my 6th house cusp so this might boost my overall "luck" when it comes to health issues.

I am very self and health conscious. I'm literally obsessed with my hygiene and personal space. Everything is either perfect and immaculate or in total disarray and that's not often. I'm obsessed with staying productive and useful. I basically represent everything Virgo represents except in an obsessive compulsive way. I either do something perfectly or not at all. I can't function in chaos and I get depressed if my routine is out of whack or I feel I'm pressed for time. Everything has its place. Everything has order.
