Has anyone read the new book by Doreen Virtue?

"The Miracles of Archangel Micheal"
This is a realy great book. There are stories of the angel stepping in to help and protect us when we need him.

My progressed sun conjunct natal venus,asteroid star, asteroid Michael,
trine my asteroid angel.
and He rules the SUN.
I guess that is why I have been so facinated with him.

Heliocentric nodes of objects move up to 1 degree per century,and so they move very slowly like fixed stars. It makes sense that Fomalhaut is aligned with the Heliocentric South Angel Node and the Heliocentric North Fay Node with the star being the watcher of the South and associated with Archangel Gabriel. Fay is another world for fairy,and so otherworldly. That's probably why astrologers believe that Fomalhaut's projected ecliptic longitude placement has an astrological influence that has to do with spirituality,mysticism and known as "The Star of Alchemy" even though the star is far away from the ecliptic as Alpha Pisces Austrinus (The Southern Fish that appears to drink from the waters coming out of the urn of Aquarius). Sadalmelik is Alpha Aquarius,and it is associated with luck,fortune as it is connected to the life giving waters of Aquarius. Sadalmelik is in a culminating (becomes active prime 29 thru death) with the Moon. As one of the 4 Royal Stars of Persia, Fomalhaut is said to grant success if ideals are noble. I am not sure about the significance of the alignment with North Heliocentric Diana Node. Diana was the Roman Goddess of The Hunt, but was also known as the Goddess of the Moon too. I wrote a poem called "Queen of Hearts" in honor of Princess Diana shortly after her death. I was even crying a lot after I found out about her death,and I just felt the need to write a poem about her. I signed the book of condolences that was located in the international house of cottages in San Diego where I was stationed at,and I left a copy of my poem there. I left copies of my poem in numerous places too.
I watched the royal wedding when I was 9 years old. I begged my parents to let me watch it too. I was always fascinated with The United Kingdom with my strong interest in Arthurian Legends,knights,crusades that it makes me wonder if I had more than one pastlife as a knight. My mother has been very religious since early childhood,and she even wanted to be a nun when she grew up. I am lucky that she didn't do that. There were times, that I thought about what it would be like to be a priest when I was a kid before I even knew about my mom's childhood desire to be a nun. Even in recent years, I thought about the possibility of becoming a monk. A few days ago, I even dreamt that I was in a monastery and asking if I was meant to be a monk. I felt the dream symbolize my longing to get rid of the feeling of being attached.

In Arthurian Legend, Lancelot was the son of King Ban and Queen Elaine of Benwick (located in Brittany in Northern France) was raised by the fay Nimue, Lady of the Lake. That's why he was known as Sir Lancelot of the Lake.
Throughout his life, he dealt with enchantresses like Dame Brisen who tricked him into sleeping with Lady Elaine,thinking she was his love,Queen Guinevere to beget Sir Galahad,the perfect knight who achieved the Quest of the Holy Grail. Lancelot failed to achieve the quest because of his adulterous affair with Guinevere who was the wife of King Arthur. Of course,he had his run-ins with the enchantress,Morgan Le Fay. My mother told me that she believes that an angel helped her get up off the ground after she was shot by paranoid schizophrenic that broke into our home and guide her out of the house on the night. Therefore, she believes that an angel saved us from death.
That night transformed our lives in numerous ways. That took place on October 26, 1974 which was 3 days before my 3rd birthday.
Growing up with that experience taught me that life can be be cut short in an instant. We never know when our time is up. It can happen at any time,any place. I also believe that there can be spiritual things that can save us from death.

I have Antares in both nadir and culminating (become active in prime year 29 thru death) paran with Jupiter

Regulus is the watcher of the North and is associated with the Archangel Raphael. As one of the 4 Royal Stars of Persia, it is said to grant success but the need to avoid revenge.
I have Regulus in setting (become active latter year 58 thru death) paran with Mars.

I prefer the paran method because it's Visual Astrology which has to do with using the horizon coordinates which is connected to the observer's location. I don't believe in projecting stars onto the ecliptic...especially if the stars are no way near the ecliptic like Fomalhaut and Sirius. Aldebaran,Regulus,and Antares are stars that located on the ecliptic.

I have most of Doreen's cards & books and went to her workshop in 2005.
Her cards & books are well written & inspirational (she's not so inspirational in person), my favourite card deck is "the ascended masters" followed by the "Archangels" deck.

Actually the angel saved both of our lives. I was with my mom when she got shot. The schizophrenic shot at me, and she pushed me out of the way. She got shot through the hand and eye.

Glaucus,

My mom's middle name is also Faye. I have a difficult relationship with my mother. We have horrible communication and I have always felt misunderstood and neglected by her. And she is a Cancer! Using the whole sign system, my Chiron is widely conjunct my Moon in the 3rd house of communication.

I thought that was interesting. I will research Arthurian asteroids for both her and myself.

EDIT: I just did my mom's chart for the first time. Both her Moon and Neptune are horribly aspected and they are conjunct (1)each other. My Pluto is also conjunct (2) her Moon/Neptune conjunction. Her Nessus is conjunct (2) my Chiron. Her Saturn is also opposition (1) my Moon. There are no significant aspects between my Angel and her chart or vice versa, but she isn't the one who named me...I should check that with my maternal grandmother's chart. She named me and we were very close.

Sometimes astrology really does explain everything lol.

EDIT 2: With my grandmother I have Moon exact conjunct her Sun Which means my Angel is also exact trine her Sun. Her Saint Michael is conjunct (2) my ASC. My grandmother had a visitation from Saint Michael when I was about 9 or 10 (he told her he would always watch over and protect her because the dark forces of this world held a special malice towards her goodheartedness)--which is also around the time I started hearing voices and having paranormal experiences.

I have Lancelot exact conjunct MC and Galahad conjunct (2) IC natally. Lancelot and Galahad are opposed (2). My Excalibur is conjunct my Pluto (2) and exact conjunct my mother's Moon/Neptune conjunction. Her Exacalibur (2) is conjunct my Mars.

Lots of what I've seen talked about so far have been very, VERY heteronormative and very of the colonial idea that there is only One Person for you, One Soulmate in terms of romantic relationships.

There are a LOT of folk in the world, both in and outside of the astro-communities that are going to find that old fashioned, harmful and outright incorrect. Christian ways of viewing these mythos figures are not the Ultimate View, and it can be very disturbing to see them passed through the astro circles in such a way.

Now for me personally, I grew up with a 'Michael' who was a horrifically abusive predator, and yet was (as is the norm) seen as a lorded individual in their own adult circles. So in my case, there is a bias, and I'll own that. This asteroid is smack on my Midheaven as well, and while I think studying the ideas of the angelic mythos of christianity (and some other western/watered down versions of other culture's mythology) are intriguing and helpful in terms of reflection of the self, I don't see it as something helpful to look at when it comes to 'relationships'.

Angelic occurrences are absolutely real (I've witnessed a few unexplainable things myself), but the way we talk about them are pretty far off. For the sake of hanging onto the admittedly fascinating experience of angelic mythos, we have to unpack this.
