katatonic - i wasn't responding to you whatsoever. what happened was that i replied to the question, THEN i read the comments and responded when i saw irregardless. both replies have absolutely nothing to do with each other. it's just coincidence that i said "i kid" after you said "just kidding". i honestly hope that you understand that i didn't mean to offend you notr did i mean to condescend because i didn't even read any of the other comments when i made my first reply.

my replies really aren't meant to attack your phonics or personal character. i just like to fix grammar errors for the sake of proper english. i do teach it, after all. and i understand getting into chatmode. i don't even capitalize online!

hopefully, you read this and this doesn't turn into one of those prolonged grudges that tend to hold on tenaciously on lindaland. it seems to happen quite frequently. i genuinely am sorry if i offended. really. i'll probably be thinking about this all day until you respond.

My pet peeve is people who do something because they think its what I want. Basically people who dont ask me what I want, dont understand how/why I do things a certain way and only that way. People who dont listen.

To use a wild example....

If I was trapped on a desert island, with no food, no clothes, no life, and generally miserable, but yet asked someone for help (lets assume I had a radio)
Instead of giving me something that I need or want, like: shelter, clothes, food etc - they would give me something that I dont want right NOW or dont need NOW...like a hooker!

Letting me starve, go cold and generally have no life.

Im not keen on them either. It is unfortunate, but there is a side to life where people are not happy and with every reason to be like that.

People who talk and talk and talk but do not listen. In other words, people who never shut up.

People who want to know about your personal life and every damn move you make. I had an aunt practically stalk me on MySpace to dig up dirt and tell my mother, who also does her own snooping. I'm a private person.

Big egos. Just because you're a good looking guy doesn't mean every chick wants to jump your bones. And just because you use daddy's credit card to buy loads of designer crap, it doesn't mean you have class. Get a grip on reality because none of that s**t matters.
