Here I am thinking more synastry than natal.

I checked out a chart recently and it had some powerfully good interaction but also a T-Square in the middle that would hit all the Aspects of Doom buttons. Sure enough, there were a couple of incidents and feelings have been hurt.

However, I think this is just one of those life situations that provide a learning opportunity. No-one is ever past trying to be a better and stronger person and how we interact with others is part of this - just my little thought for the day.

Saturn seems to put everyone off. Is Saturn synastry really that bad? I have lived happily with Mars CNJ Saturn/Sun for many years.

But I like being challenged, teach me something I don't know, push me a little bit.

Mars conjunct Saturn/Sun is tolerable. Mars square sun can be exciting. Mars square Saturn is a bytch. sorry. I see no learning opportunity in it, I have it with my husband and if it were not for our other wonderful aspects, one of us would have killed the other already.

I also think it can be a learning opportunity or it can be just hell.

It really depends on your natal and how you deal with that energy, even though I agree Mars-Saturn-square seems to be one of the toughest.
Personally I couldn´t live with it I think. But my Mars is in a Fire-sign in 12th house on the ASC and conjunct Neptune; so very much Neptunian and Jupiter-influenced (Sagittarius) - someone whose Saturn would square that sounds like a real wet blanket.

Even though I wonder what my Saturnian Capricorn Venus would say to this aspect?

Well to say i agree, tough aspects in natal are there so you can learn something in this life. I have my sun square my saturn. To my greatest luck this aspect is for the most of times present in my synastry charts with people as well.

So yeah as you said DD it can be hell especially if you have to deal with this aspects in natal as in synastry, though once you come from that hellish nightmare, you often realize it was a life changing experiance, that on the end gave you more than it took, especially concerning life wisdom department

Then try Saturn opposed to Mars. Forming a t-square with Jupiter. XP Me and my bf have that, and it was his Saturn conjunct/oppose/square my Pluto, Mars and Jupiter. It's so often that my passion/anger/action would be seen by him as immature or negative, and I often think that he's like an old grumpy man, not able to relax and enjoy things without complaints. >_<

My synastry doesn't really have any good aspects, and we also have another t-square with his Venus oppose my Sun and square my Neptune. Astrologically speaking, it wouldn't be possible for us to ever be happy together lol. But well, we actually have a nice composite, although there's that Moon square Neptune that often gives me headaches. ^_~;

But well, I do agree that hard aspects can help us learning more about ourselves. It just depends on if things are too hard to deal with and if there's no positive things to balance with.

But once I've read it somewhere that the best gift we can bring to our relationships is self-improvement. ^_~

I agree with you too Bluemoon, without that challenge, there really isn't anything to keep a relationship going and growing. I would feel safer an comfortable knowing there's tense, because thats whats makes the relationship stronger. Unfortunately the one guy I did have alot of rough Saturn with decided it was a relationship he didn't want to pursue. It might have been my Saturn square his Mars that made him feel this way.

mars square saturn

Ok...bad in natal or synastry? Or both?

My virguy has sun, moon and mercury square jupiter, uranus and neptune.

Venus and mars square saturn and mc.

Pluto square ascendant.

How "bad" is this?
Would trines and sextiles in his chart balance things out?
I don't know.

If you guys know where I can learn more about aspects interpretation and how to put the entire picture together, please let me know.

Thanks.
