What would be some good transits during which one could make a good deal? What astral configurations should I avoid or look for?

Buying a house.
2 (buy) and 4 (house)1 (self) and 4. That is for transits.
If you look at horary, look to house 4 and house 5.
4 is home and 5th, being second from 4th, is house value.
No, if you did it before the credit crunch and it said the value would go up, but obviously it didnt...not valid.

You can look at progressions.
also asteroid house works well in the buying and selling of a home.
It may even describe the home.
look to progressed asteroid house.
and anything describing the buying and selling of a home. as Coffee said 4th house is good but also progressed 4th house. and proserpina,

Ensure that Asteroid TYCHE is not retrograde nor Asteroid HOUSE is retrograde. It will be great if TYCHE and HOUSE are positively aspect each other or HOUSE is in your 4th House. HOUSE sextile/trine North Node is also a good time. Moon should be near to New Moon state as well than near to full Moon.------------------

i would also add avoid buying during mercury rx..
i m seein 4950 (house) is retrograde now..

Thank you for the answers!Okay, so avoid Mercury retro, Tyche retro (ends at the end of July), House retro (ends on 10th August  ). By the time all these 3 bodies go direct, Jupiter will be retro in my 1st, Uranus retro in my 2nd, Neptune (ruler of my 2nd) will also be retro, in my 1st. Argh!!!! It feels like I will never get my own home and I want it and need it badly.

Coffee, it wasn't a horary question, I only wanted to know when to program buying a home so that things could go as smoothly as possible. I might have to get a loan, which worries me because Saturn currently rocks my 8th house like crazy and Uranus does the same to my 2nd.  Vesta,
Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't checked progressions yet, the only thing that popped in my head was that the distance between House and Sun is 28 degrees, so I guess at age 28 would be a good time for this... but I can't wait that long.
What made you suggest Proserpina? IQ,

Pluto (other ppl's money) in your 2nd house (your money)?! Are you kidding me?? You could get a great deal, not to mention a nice loan! Okay, some caution is still needed, not like you're buying a pair of shoes here. But I don't see why this should be a problem. Saturn-Uranus could be tricky, I suppose (had this one at age 3, can't remember much). IP: Logged |

Alia, North Node in Capricorn is one of the best periods to buy a house. Selling it while North Node is in Cancer is also a good idea [this is a 9-10 year Real Estate Cycle.]So post August with HOUSE direct will be a good time, especially in Arizona. California will always have quake problems and high costs, anybody would love to own a home in Arizona. ------------------

i do think that pretty soon arizona will be pickin up again but right now housing market is a real disaster from sellers point of view.
i am currently on a loan but i d like to get another house - at the price i paid this for there are now waaay more beautiful houses- so i think i d need to show the bank a rental contract in order to get a 2nd loan. and with the mortgage industry we all know how tough will it be, though i have a very good credit score.
but my plan is to get a better house and rent out mine until market goes back up again and i can sell it at no loss.transiting Neptune will go retro the 29th (things hidden or unseen?)
Mercury (while Rx) forming a trine to my natal Pluto which is the ruler of my natal 4th House is good but after May 31st Jupiter and Neptune will be retro and move toward a square to my natal Neptune in 4th. Jupiter doesn't get back to that trine to my Moon until Jan 2, 2010. Unfortunately, Neptune will be squaring natal Neptune then as well. i really should just ask my guides to help me!!!!

Yeah, Alia, it doesn't look that good for me, either. Jupiter is still retro until mid October. When this puppy goes direct, dear Chiron squares my MC/IC axis until December.  It already hit it at the beginning of the year and it was awful, horrible at work, bad at home. Wouldn't buy a house during that.
I just wish something, SOMETHING in this stupid life would go my way. Just one thing, ******* it!

suze orman says the market will be at it's lowest in 2010 then will start picking up. I think this year and next year is the best time. Personally i think mid 2010 it will start picking up big time(IMO). I cant believe ppl buy during a seller's market. buyer's market is the only id ever buy one. craziness. i hope you get your house. thats the ultimate dream and everyone needs that in life..a home to come to.IP: Logged |

i agree it will touch the bottom in spring 2010 .. then will pick up back but very slowly.

Now, is a good time the real estate market always runs on a 20 -30 yrs cycle.The last one just ended this one may just be starting. A Good time to buy or plan to buy. The World is not going to end in 2012.
There will be major changes ofcourse, mostly a one world government will be established with a unified financial system.
Obviously, having physical gold is a great idea.
