My progressed ASC changed into Capricorn a few years ago (I was having my Saturn return shortly after that).It was the year I had my first job, moved out from home, had my first own appartment and basically had to take responsibility for about everything in my life, taxes (Saturn in 8th house, too), bills, insurances, rent and on top of the financial things I had to learn to structure my day to get through it without being overworked (took some time to learn that(. my friend also said that at that time I was OBSESSED with my work, couldn`t talk about anything else, and was worrying a lot for nothing.
Interestingly that was very much unlike me. Before I would always think that everything will go well somehow (ASC Sagittarius), and she was the one being depressed and fearful. In her case her Cancer ASC had progressed into Leo at that time. IP: Logged |

Yes, that is very true.
My Sun has JUST progressed into Aquarius last june (it is at 0°59 now, squaring my natal Uranus on 1.2 Scorpio) and I definitely can feel a change.It`s interesting just HOW many Aquarius-men have crossed my way lately! (My Moon is in Aquarius, too, as are my progressed Mercury and Venus). IP: Logged |

I wonder if/how much my personality will change, when my progressed Sun and ascendant change signs - from Taurus/Scorpio (27*/26* respectively, at the moment) to Gemini/Sagittarius. IP: Logged |

My progressed AC will change to Cancer in July. I wonder what, if anything will happen. Let's not forget this changes our DC too! Mine will go into capricorn. I wonder if that means I will get married...we'll see.  If anyone had their AC change to cancer, I'd love to know what happened. IP: Logged |

My Ascendant went into Libra on September 1, 1989. I was 16 going on 17 at the time. It was around the time that we moved after living in a place since I was 13 1/2. I ended up going to another school district.
It was also a a bit of culture shock in a way. The last school that I went to was predominantly black. The new school was predominantly white,and it had a black student population of only 4 percent. I felt uncomfortable throughout my whole time there because I felt like a minority in the school just as much as a minority in the state and country. I would say that mixed race people like me weren't even 1 percent of the student population. There was racism in the school too, but I avoided it. The school was Elk Grove High in Elk Grove, California. I had to be bussed 30 miles away from Sacramento,California to that school. I lived in the boundaries of the school. I was much closer to Valley High that is in Sacramento. Elk Grove was a small town,and it was predominantly white.
progressed Ascendant conjuncting my Pluto in 00'51 Libra in 1st too,and that indicates personal transformation.
interestingly, progressed Midheaven moved into Cancer on the day as progressed Ascendant moved into Libra!
That fits with having a new home
Of course, progressed Midheaven square my natal Pluto too! That indicate transformation in my life. There definitely was.
Secondary progressions really work!

My ascendant changed to Capricorn right when I had I left for my first trip abroad by myself, I was 18 going on 19 at the time, and I seem to have matured invariably from that trip and the Asc. change as well. IP: Logged |

Mine progressed into scorpio about 2 years ago.I dumped my bf and went overseas and fell in love with someone else. BUt then i came back 7 months later and got back with him and nothing changed.------------------

My asc changed twice..but of course I dont remember the first one bec.I was 2
second change was a couple of years ago to libra asc.
I become more social..
6 months ago my sun progressed to sagittarius..I feel good..I wasnt very comfortable with my prog.scorpio sun..
I realised that I dance a lot more when I go out at nights Lol..Prog.libra asc is very much in tune with my natal libra stellium and prog.sag.sun is in tune with my natal sag.moon..I hope things go well IP: Logged |

My ASC is now in Pisces and I guess it very recently changed because it is only at 0'30.When did it change and what does it symbolize, to move into Pisces? So your ASC changes about three or four times in your life? Started off in Cap, 27 degrees. IP: Logged |

lol, DD, rather you than me! i mean i am glad that it is unlikely i will ever have to suffer through cappy asc!! born early aqua on the horizon, i have been through aqua,pisces and aries now, and am beginning to settle into a taurean phase since about 5 years back! i have looked back and each of the changes coincide with significant watershed moments in my life - going to uni, the beginning of single motherhood, and the beginning of grandmothering!these correlate very well with the signs - when i left home, travelled 3000 miles to school and found myself in the middle of cutting edge 60's activities of art, music, consciousness expansion, physics and astrology, i was just getting into pisces. this continued through my music career and the first couple of years of my daughter's life - also interesting, my daughter has a 12th house moon to go with my pisces pr first house - and when it was in the last decan of pisces i met my 24deg cancer sun husband, too. about the time that her father was starting to feel detached my asc went into aries, and sure enough i was soon doing all the aries warrior self-determined stuff prescribed and dealing with a prototype aries child to boot! as i came into taurus i also became "nanny" to my grandson and have been preoccupied with family, values and making things comfortable for everyone...again it's interesting to me that my grandson has a taurus moon...and that i am increasingly interested in taurean things including, new for me, working out ways to secure a little comfort and pleasure for myself. also that i am increasingly willing (as i was in my pisces days) to let things come to me...rather than chasing after them and battering down walls that presented themselves. Well yes and no about keeping to myself.I have saturn in 12th. Soon to come out and shine in my first house Ive been alone now or i feel alone. But not depressed ------------------

My p-ASC changed when I was 19 to Tau. I have since then, put on more weight. My chart ruler is Mars in Gemini and my p-ASC ruler is Venus, natally it is in Sag but since I was 19, Venus has gone through two "skinny" signs of Aqu and Cap but I still was weighty. I guess that's when guys started to look at me more, but I don't contribute that to p-ASC, rather age group. Otherwise, not much else. IP: Logged |

I've noticed that in the past few weeks, I am bored. I have never been bored in my life. I can always occupy myself with something, even if it's just thinking. Maybe it's just a phase, but none of the old things I was interested in are things I really want to do. I feel lazier. I know a lot of cancers and they aren't lazy, but they are cancer suns - I don't know any cancer AC's. Are they prone to laziness? Maybe "laziness" isn't the right word, but it's the first thing it feels like. In any event, to go from frenetic, mentally active gemini AC to calmer cancer may feel like laziness. I've read that the AC change can be really disorienting. I wish I knew more about this whole thing... IP: Logged |

ok for those whose prog asc have moved on into the next sign, did you notice having more affinity with people who put a lot of planets in your progressed 7th???
and thats cool with those of you going through 4 signs! i charted out mine and i'll have 2 in my lifetime since theyre very long ascension.

mine is slowly getting into cancer and hell i've put on weight! I tend to stock and stay home... I used to be walking around everywhere before. Hopefully for me when uranus comes striking back i get physically hectic too. IP: Logged |

At the end of this year my asc is still one and something degree and then i'll officially be a gemini with cancer rising !!!But I can feel the fattening coming up (i have moon in four in this solar return). Do you also feel like it's time to be more home ish and settle down? IP: Logged |

I dunno but i used not to be homeish  I have a moon in sagittarius conjunct uranus... So it's weird for me to feel such emotions as wanting children and giving up art and music for another type of creation.
I think men who also feel like settling down will be running after the smell of our brand new cancer rising ascendant :-D

I used to not be homeish too. That was awhile ago. Why do you have to completely give up your art? Are you just not interested in it anymore? Do you think guys will like our new AC? What do you think about our new DC? Capricorn - seems like a much more serious DC than Sag, huh? Also, do you think tPluto in our DC will be felt?
