I have mercury mars and venus in a certain persons 8th house in synastry I am curuiuos how itll play out shouldn't he feel for me? Cause I feel deeply for him.IP: Logged |

As far as I know the 8th house is very significant in synastry especially since it's a water house and the most complex of the water houses. It would normally make him perceive you in a way colored by the things associated with the house, those being depth, sexuality, intimacy, emotionality. Your planets in his 8th house would normally mean that you have a profound effect on him. The 8th house is associated with private matters as well so you might stimulate him to look internally and analyze himself. I'd say it would create a very intimate emotional link. But if he's not comfortable with the matters related to the 8th house, he might find this kind of connection too deep or intrusive and it might make him feel exposed. Just supposing based on general descriptions. Also, some theories say that when it comes to the 8th house, the house person tends to have the upper hand even though generally the planet person affects the house person. IP: Logged |

Why would it be different in the 8th house instance for the planet person to not have more control, Ruben?
I've certainly felt a strong Mars in my 8th and was overwhelmed by it. But I think sexually I did have the upper hand. Hmmm. IP: Logged |

Haha, just what I heard. The explanation I read was that because of the nature of the house, the house person would be more aware of the influence and would be able to dominate the planet person instead of just feeling affected by him/her.IP: Logged |

I have a similar situation I've been curious about. There's this guy I've had a crush on for the past couple of years. My venus and mars fall in his 8th. Also my pluto opposes his venus and moon. His pluto squares my moon (by 3 degrees).
My intuition (and dreams) tell me he's crazy about me too. But I suspect the intensity scares him. I've never been this attracted to anyone EVER. Anyway he's dating a boring but rich girl at the moment, but whenever we run into each other the attraction is obvious. Sigh...
Now I'm sidetracked, forgot the gist of my inquiry.

Rawr Sounds like 8th house alright.. I bet there is an attraction there a big one eyes and planets don't lie people lie though..So I have read When Your planets hit a persons 8th house pulse pounding reactions to you the 8th person hast to have you. Yeah.. Unfortunately for me his did he told me the guy i had 8th house planets with that everything between us was a lie it happened last week.. I felt deeply for him but I guess *shrugs*IP: Logged |

I always feel someone's mars in my 5th and 8th(EVERYTIME!) even if theyre not amazing looking...you just feel it. I think house person feels it strongly, but mars senses the attraction right away  IP: Logged |

 mercury in someone's 8th does cause sex talk for sure(not sure about mars though) :P most of the time. if not sex, then deeper issues. i felt like i talked about very deep issues with the person, things i never revealed to others. i love 8th house interaction(most of the time).. IP: Logged |

Wow! I don't think I've had any past life dreams, but I've dreamt things that ended up happening (don't know if it's 8th house moon or 12th house sun?). Anyway moon in the 8th is a blessing and a curse. You can see through bull****.
