What does in mean in synastry when the IC axis of one person conjuncts the MC of the other?

I heard different theories, one of them saying that the MC is the external or evolved version of the IC, kind of the image that the IC wants to adopt and project.

I have this same conjunction with the girl i really like. I haven't found much info on it, but DD wrote this in one of her posts. I hope it helps.

Probably a soul-connection (emphasis on the parental axis, maybe some sort of family feeling or feeling of purpose as MC is part of this"

I find it quite true. It definately is a strong connection. I would agree to what you have said, the IC peron looks up to the MC, cuz teh MC person already posseses the traits that the IC person wants, or desires to evolve.

Hmm, that makes sense. That might explain why the person I have this connection with (I'm the MC) has such a condescending attitude towards me and keeps challenging me. She hates being dominated or led in some way I suppose.

If your IC conjuncts someone's MC, then your MC also conjuncts his/her IC.

I guess that this can give a feeling that we are tied with each other through our daily life and life direction. With your partner, you might often talk about career or family/home stuffs, and it can give a kind of family/familiar feeling.

*edit* hmm maybe it can also be a nice aspect for couples who wants to build a family together, since both inspires each other about their own life direction and home/family life? I have the feeling that IC/IC MC/MC conjunction is different from the opposition, since the conjunction brings similarity, while the opposition brings inspiration.

The only times in my life where I've talked about building a family with another person have been with MC/IC conjunctions. I've experienced this twice, one with a long time boyfriend, and with a person who was never my boyfriend at all (so it's weird that there would be marriage proposals right).
