Hi everyone, a newbie here! Before I go into the topic I wanted to say that I've really enjoyed members' posts on here... googling astrology questions have so many times lead me here and I've learned a lot from you. So, thanks!Ok, I've got a synastry question. I've posted this elsewhere, so I think I'll just copy and paste: I’ve been looking over a synastry comparison between myself and someone I feel extremely drawn to… initially while using astro.com I only saw a grand water trine with an opposition. I looked at it more closely and noticed other oppositions within the trine and so went back and checked the box to draw all aspect lines (not sure why some major planet aspects weren’t showing up in the first place). Once I did that I noticed two grand trines. They looked as if they were evenly spaced out to form a 6 pointed star, but the full outer hexagon shape wasn't drawn. So I went back and looked at each of our natal charts for sextiles between the points and in fact found sextiles in all of the missing spaces (obviously, astro.com doesn’t draw natal lines in a synastry chart)… My question is, does that count as a star of David, even if some of the sextiles are made within our individual charts? And if it does count as that type of formation, what do you think it means in synastry? The grand water trine involves: my Jupiter---- his Venus/Mercury conjunction---- and his Pluto conjunct my Uranus, Psyche and Vertex. The other grand trine is (mostly earth except for my Saturn in Leo) formed from my Chiron almost conjunct his North Node (5 degree orb)---- his Neptune/Eros conjunction---- and my Saturn/Mars conjunction. Any thoughts? I can fill in more blanks as needed, although some things are unknown as I do not have his exact birth time yet.

Thanks for the bump Cheshire Kat. Peri, it's hard to find detailed information on that configuration, so thank you as well. Is it safe to assume that an interpretation like that in a natal chart can be applied the same way in a synastry chart? I get a general feel for it that it is a good thing, and like you said a symbol of integration and spirituality, but I wonder how it could influence the dynamics of a relationship... I'm so confused and I'm trying to utilize astrology to help me make sense of this connection I feel with him because it's completely impractical (though it has no bearing to my hopeless romantic side); he's 23 and I'm 30, which would normally be an impossible barrier for me, and soon after meeting him he moved across the ocean for a long time. Plus my protective Venus in Cancer spots in him a possible "charmer" that I'm for some reason not able to resist (usually I stay away from those too!). So, any advice that anyone would have about anything would be much welcome! And I'd also love to hear of any other aspects that could possibly be making me feel this way. IP: Logged |
