Hi out there, in this case: especially the guys amongst you.

If your natal Venus is in Gemini: Could you sketch your "attraction patterns"? What awakens your interest in a woman? How would it be (ever) possible to stay with you for the long-run? (Gemini is said to be versatile, but also fickle. You're bored easily, aren't you? ;-)But there must be SOME way for bonding ...?)

I've read some material about Gemini-Venus, of course all the verbal/mental/intellectual stimulation was a topic. It also said, that men with Gemini-Venus prefer the skinny/slim/sporty/girlish type of women. Would you agree?

Special additional question: What if the rest of your chart looks quite contrary, on first sight? I mean: The person I am talking about, he's got Gemini-Venus, but it is conjunct his Saturn. (Spoiling the "fun"-factor? Making him "more reliable"?) His Sun is in Cancer, so is his Moon... I'm a bit confused by the signals he's sending, to be honest.

He would be attracted to a girl who is natural, feminine, and intelligent. He probably enjoys play on words but because his moon is in the sign of cancer he wants stability, comfort, and a nurturing type of woman.

My bf has venus in gemini like me and I am by no means skinny. I think he likes curves to be honest....He's an Aries Sun and Moon.

With his venus conjunct saturn, it would make him want stability and a longe term relationship as opposed to "flings." but if he also has something like venus conjunct uranus, he may not know what he wants. Like he would have a long term relationship but at the same time he may feel restricted and want freedom.

at first the venus in gemini is a big factor in the type he is attracted to. I think with gemini' duality, he doesn't really have a specific "physical" type. but once he is attracted to he is looking for cancerian qualities...that's what i think.

COFFEE, unfortunately I don't know his ASC. I can only guess ... but that would be too vague for the moment. Most probably, he's quite an "authentic" or genuine person - having his Sun and Moon conjunct (as it seems). His Mars and Mercury are in Leo.

We share some astrological traits: Both our Suns in Cancer, both our Mercurys in Leo. His Gemini-Venus should go well with my Sagittarius-Moon.... But I guess ... he's not as "attracted" (to me) than I am (to him). Hm. ;-(

TAUREAN SCORPION: Okay, that "skinny" part is something I read somewhere on the web and in a book only;-)

I don't agree with that!
my ex who had venus in leo was the biggest flirt.
but my bf now is possessive and jealous and I am pretty pretty sure all he wants is me...
Look for pluto-venus aspects.

Actually ... his Venus is cj. his Saturn AND trining his Uranus (and sextiling his Mercury, a great charmer he is, in any case! And: very entertaining & witty!)

I have venus in Gemini and people who lack an education or intelligent, sophisticated mind are really a huge turn off. Even if the looks are great, I don't care. So the men probably don't like unintelligent girls who can't carry a conversation.

TAUREAN SCORPION: "Pluto-Venus-aspects" - thanks for that idea!;-) But I just had that with my last serious relationship (which lasted almost 2 years): I was Pluto, he was Venus - and it ended all very miserably... ,-) Basically, I'd appreciate some more "lightheartedness" in love this time - but look at these natal placements of mine, I need "sincerity" too!

ASC: Scorpio
Sun: Cancer
Moon: Sagittarius
Venus: Virgo
Juno: Taurus
Eros: Capricorn

Both these remarks do make sense to me! ;-) Actually, I consider myself to be a gorgeous conversationalist, haha! (At least in my own mother language...).

"Looks" - "slim or not so slim": I know about one woman in particular, that this guy had been after immensely, some 5 years ago. He really must have been mad to "get" her (people told me). They described her as "tomboyish, not "fat", but almost, and very short, blonde hair." Funny thing: I am the opposite of all this. BUT: I am also 2 years older than him. Maybe this is something that makes him feel uncomfortable ... (Because the night we spent together was great! Very relaxed, funny, full of talk, talk, talk, joking an fooling around ... I was totally surprised by that entertaining and "easy" feel to our first date - and he was too, he told me. He gave me a sweet kiss on the cheek when we said goodbye. And he sent me a message via his mobile phone afterwards, wishing me "good night". I replied with a short, friendly e-mail the next day, saying that I liked that night and would like to meet him again some day, if he wanted to. NEVER EVER any reply. The classical case of a guy vanishing! I don't know why. Luckily, I havent't fallen in love (yet).

I might as well put this into layman's terms: he probably doesn't like bimbos.

As a gemini venus I know I could never like anyone who was all looks and no brains/substance. Then again, I don't think I've ever been attracted to anyone who was normal either....its always the weirdos for me.

I think the Cancer Sun would wiegh down his Gem. Venus, water and air people seem to be very down for a considerate open minded person thats not linear in their conversations, also they seem to be very bold.

I am going off my Pisces Sun/Gem Mars/..can't really remember the rest.

Could be a signifigcant difference..

I love attention too, VenusVirgo.

I've had two male friends with Venus in Gemini. If there's anything I know about these guys, it's that they tend to ease into relationship through friendship. They can take forever too.
But I've never been interested or with (ummm, I don't think) a Venus in Gemini.
Both guys were surrounded by a LOT of women who were 'friends'. They seemed to find ones with the MOST problems WERE attractive (even though they were actually not at all intelligent OR attractive...and um, *married* as well. lol).
Methinks males with Venus Gemini might like complicated situations in general lol.
I would say this is probably an extreme version of Venus Gemini.... with the complicated situations, the more complicated and convoluted, the better lol. Entangling, socially awkward situations were like an aphrodisiac to them.
And no, it wasn't so much about intelligence actually. As long as the thing was viewed as 'interesting', that was all that mattered.
And in some cases, it was actually rather extreme, and they seemed more into the concept of the complicated situation rather than the person as an individual. Which is kind of annoying! lol.

My Dad has Venus in Gemini.

He described (with a twinkle in his eye) how he was attracted to my mother because she was a "challenge". Or maybe that should be "is" a challenge, they are still together nearly 50 years later. Gems don't like getting bored, that's true. One thing she isn't is boring. Eccentric, feisty, fiery-tempered. That's what he likes.

My ex boyfriend had Venus in Gemini. I'm Gemini Rising.

I can be feminine but I lean more towards androgynous. I am skinny and prefer intellectual stimulation. I also get bored really easily.

Well I'm a girl and I have Mars in Gemini that is conj Mr 23's Gemini Venus.

He has made endless points about not liking dumb people in general, especially girls. I'm the same too, especially guys.

Mental chemistry is a necessity, not having someone to converse with regularly is like hell on earth. Word chatter and games are common. Witty and cute girls is a must.

I realized that I am only attracted to incredibly intelligent men who can talk. Someone who is at least at my intelligence level, or more so. All the better if a little more, because that stretches my mind. And they have to be able to talk with me about anything and everything. Talking is how I connect with people, how I share myself, and how I learn. It's something that is really important to me in a relationship.

I have:
Venus in Gemini, 7th house
Mercury in Leo

Gosh, I wish I saw this topic earlier. I am Cancer Sun/Gemini Venus and the bf is a Cancer Sun/Leo Moon/Gemini Venus. It's like 1am here in Korea, though, so I'm going to bed. I will respond with something longer later after calling him in NY, but a Gemini Venus male (esp. with Cancer) need a challenge that they know (or at least they THINK that) they can beat...

And with that...

i'm a venus in gemini and a moon in gemini though i'm a cancer and i have to say i am attracted to complex quiet men but very smart men. either they're very smart about one specific thing or many things...if they have a solid command in a subject, i'm fascinated by them. i also like men who can talk about a broad range of things or at least muse about them...say something about anything for hours and hours...so yeah definitely am stimulated by intelligence. it's weird because i like quiet guys but they better know how to talk when they're with me.

OKAY! I'M BACK! Work got crrrrrazyyy busy.

My two cents: I love an intelligent man. All the men I have dated are intellectual snobs. I love it. Poor grammar and spelling turn me off, although I'm a bit more lenient with internet speak. I LOOOOOVE foreigners. Mmmm. I also fall in in love with @ssholes (aries DSC?)

Him: "I like a girl who knows what she's talking about. Politics is a turn on; religion is not. I need, not want, an intellectual equal. I like a girl who is feisty and not the norm. I like brunettes (note: he's a blonde) and I like peirced noses for some reason. Not anything flashy. A small nose stud is cute. A girl with her own life. A girl with a job. A girl in the arts is a major big deal. If she isn't into the arts or politics, I have no idea what we'd talk about. A girl who takes pride in her looks, but isn't going to **** me off with constant questions about them. Natural girls are hot. Runners are VERY hot. She has to be HILARIOUS or it's no deal. Why are you asking this. Fck, are you feeling insecure again? By the way, I love you."

He is Cancer Sun, Gemini Venus in the 8th. Cancer Sun, Venus in the 9th. He's a Leo Moon/Scorpio Rising, I'm a Scorpio Moon/Libra Rising.
