What does Eros symbolise, what's he meant to do? Once we get some consensus on that we are flying.

I'm surprised you haven't had more replies on this topic.

O.K, I checked this out:-
http://www.falconastrology.com/natal_asteroids.htm

Mine is in Gemini in the 8th. It fits, I get curious about what makes people tick, I want to get inside them and find out. It gets me in trouble.

Oh. I just checked out where it is on my husband's chart. In his 9th house, in tight orb to his M.C. That's quite strong. I feel traumatised by that revelation.

His is in Sag, in my 1st house. Has he expanded my sexual horizons? (Paraphrasing Mrs Falconer). I'll tell you about it in the pub later.

His Eros is Opposite mine, my Sun (because I have Sun CNJ Eros) and makes a Kite with my Grand Trine.

Eros in the houses in synastry indicates the life areas where people will be erotically or creatively stirred by each other.

For example, let's say that Person A's Eros is tightly conjuct person B's MC, while Person B's Eros falls in Person A's 5th house. Person B might see Person A as a kind of muse, spurring her to more intense action in her career, and creatively inspiring her...while Person A is more likely be romantically turned on by Person B, since his Eros falls in her 5th house of romance, creativity, fun.

How powerful the Eros influence will be is shaped by each natal chart, and the details of the overall synastry.
