What does Karma mean in the different houses in synastry? Is it the area in which that person will shape your destiny, and if so, how is it different from the NN and Vertex?I'm looking at my synastry with a man now--his Karma falls in my 8th house, and my Karma falls in his 8th house. IP: Logged |

A "Fated" match. For what purpose, other links will reveal. Ensure that his Saturn is not retrograde and if so, it must not make harmful aspects to your chart. If he is born on an 8 or 26 and his name is also an 8 numbered one numerologically, then check if you both met on an 8 numbered date. If so, then something seriously fated is about to occur. ------------------

Interesting! His Saturn isn't retrograde. He wasn't born on an 8 date (unless you add together his day plus month of birth), but we met each other on an 8 date. IP: Logged |

interesting really.
in my synastry his karma conjuncts my destinn and falls in my 2nd opposing my sun in 8th
and my karma conjuncts his mars in his 6th (my 12th). [we have opposed ascendants.]

We also have his Eros in my 8th house and my Eros in his 8th house. The connection between us feels very fateful and exciting to me, I think to him too.IP: Logged |

Lucia, meeting on an 8th is also quite fated. You should try out the calculator, it is not a whimsical one but created after cross checking more than a 100 strong soulmate relationships. Alia, Karma conj Destinn is fated irrespective of the house. Karma in another's 12th House indicates that a spiritual lesson is to be daught or a hidden spiritual or "confinement" issue is to be settled. ------------------

And yes I can only agree, your calculator is superb. 
Of course I still can`t stop working on my own a little bit, but that is not meant as criticism on yours; it`s jsut that I have two or three thoughts that may be a bit different.
But you researched 100 synastries? Wow, that must have been a lot of work!

I have nearly 2 dozen cases of happy marriages in my contacts plus dozens of free and professional soulmate readings. *sighs* Of course this is anoterh placement, that Jude and me share, too.
Actually it`s an interesting interchange.
Natally he has Karma in 1st house and I put my Karma into his 7th house.
I have Karma natally in 7th house and he puts his Karma into my 1st house.
(the Karma - Karma-opposition is 4 degree wide though, so not valid I guess).

Why the 11th house?
Also,
I have a synastry here, in which his Karma falls into her 5th house and her Karma falls into his 1st house (but not conjunct his ASC, it is 5 degree away).
What is the difference between those placements?

Even though I have no idea why you think that.
I think your calculator is definitely accurate, and I am despairing about mine. It feels like the answer is just out of reach.
Anyway, I guess with karma in Gemini in 7th house I am a bit obsessed with analyising relationships.
