i was reading this :Transits made to your Sun/Moon midpoint; or to your partners, transits to your composite Sun/Moon midpoint will also determine when you will marry. The composite Sun/Moon midpoint will be active; especially if another’s Sun/Moon midpoint conjuncts yours. Check the progressed or solar arc directed Suns to see if they fall on the composite Sun/Moon midpoint. my Q are: what are the orbs of conjunction for sunmoon midpoints? what does it mean when they are opposite eachother? like mine is 16 cappy/cancer and his is 10 cancer/cappy. in the composite is 10 cancer/cappy so exactly conjunct to his natal sunmoon midpoint. when the guy recontacted me after 2 years, jupiter was transiting conj my sunmoon midpoint. most astrologers use only 1 degree orb for transits to the midpointsRaymond IP: Logged |

Same man, no, not on the natal that I can spot at a quick look. It doesn't mean that is a no for anyone else, though. That's just how my chart worked out. There are other indicators that show the significance of the relationship. IP: Logged |

No, sorry, no transiting Juno either. I'm generally speaking not sold on asteroid transits so I don't put them in the chart. IP: Logged |

I believe that one's Sun/Moon midpoint conjuncting composite Sun/Moon midpoint is significant btw...I think Juno transits could be significant. It is a major asteroid, and it does figure into relationships. It's named after the Roman Goddess of Marriage.
I'd also look at solar arcs and secondary progressions involving Juno I also believe that Ceres is highly underrated in Astrology, and I believe that it can figure prominently in relationship with its emphasis on nurturing as well as maternal matters including even things like how one's mother can affect the relationship. There is also the food, nourishing aspect too.
As a dwarf planet, I would say that it's just as significant as dwarf planet, Pluto. It's just that Ceres is an object that bridges the personal and the social with it orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. It's no coincidence that Mars/Jupiter midpoint and other Mars-Jupiter combinations have to do with children, procreation in Cosmobiology and Uranian Astrology. Raymond

I think that the composite aspects to the couple's natal is meaningful, as these aspects might tell how each of us feel about our relationships. For example, even if the composite has nice aspects, if these aspects are negatively aspected to one's natal, then this relationship might be a bit stressful to this person I guess.Having one's Sun/Moon midpoint conjunct the composite's Sun/Moon midpoint can be significant, since transits would also affect both this person and the relationship. In my case, me and my bf have composite Venus square my natal Sun/Moon midpoint, and composite Mars/Jupiter opposes/conjunct his Sun/Moon midpoint (composite Venus and Mars are conjunct, with just 3º55' degrees apart). Also, I've just noticed that my AC and my bf's Union conjunction, which are exact conjunct the composite IC, is actually opposed to the composite Sun/Moon midpoint. X3 There are a couple of other exact aspects from our composite to our natal charts, and I think that they are significant, as it gives some idea about how each of us might feel about our relationship, and also how transits that affects certain parts of our natal charts also affects certain parts of our relationship. (well, this is all symbolically speaking of course XP ) IP: Logged |

I think midpoint aspects might be more important than we think. IP: Logged |

yes, possibly, because they highlight similiar/same angular distances either natally or synastrically. However I still would like some actual planet triggering those. But I do think David Cochrane wrote something about conjuncting midpoints, if, and only IF, it was the same midpoint. So Sun/Moon-mp conjunct or opposite Sun/Moon-mp for example. IP: Logged |

Makes sense!Edited to add: They are an easy way of tracking Bear Hugs, which are otherwise difficult to see. With the help of mp's I found 4 different Bear Hugs in our synastry, all involving the Moon. Had I not compared midpoints, I'd only be aware of 1. IP: Logged |

It's the half distance between two planets. IP: Logged |
