I can tell you that this is exactly the reason that I'm glad I no longer work at a restaurant. Most people there were in such dark moods so I really didn't care to associate with them otherwise because I would easily absorb their negative energy whenever I was around them and it would make me mad..LOL. I have my Chart ruler in the 12th house (plus Uranus and Neptune, and an 8th house moon that trines neptune and pluto plus a few other water placements. I can come off as pretty aloof sometimes but deep down inside, I'm pretty much an empathetic NUT. I've only ever had one precognitive dream though, but other than that I do get some pretty clear messages in my dream. IP: Logged |

** how interesting, Scorp31, there was one astrologer who also had Pluto in the 12th and he claimed he could influence people's moods to his advantage! and yes, there definitely was something about him I cant put my finger on it but there was something about him ** Peri
Thinking about this some more, I wonder if my Mercury in Scorpio 2nd and Pluto in Virgo 12th being in mutual reception would enhance this ability? Being able to mentally process things that are unseen such as body language, listening to someone and picking up on the things that the person is not saying, hyper perceptiveness etc… IP: Logged |

yes of course! quote: Mutual Reception reminds me of time-share house-swaps: you have an apartment in New York City and want to summer in Florence; someone in Florence wants to come to New York at the same time. The deal is made, you live in each other’s domain, getting very close together without ever meeting, and the cooperation touches both lives. It also reminds me of a magician and his assistant: the performer and his helper sharing a highly integrated performing rapport; the former is seen, the latter need not be, and the effect is remarkable! Mutual Reception in astrology occurs when two planets relate by the fact that each is in the sign ruled by the other; that’s time-share swap. And when the two planets in each other’s domain are ALSO in aspect, the wedding of energies can be magical dramatic. http://www.noeltyl.com/techniques/040130.html

I have a Stellium in the 12th house, and I know what you mean. I protect myself and I don't trust most people. Before, I couldn't go where there was a lot of people because it would tire me out. I can protect myself better now that I know this and it has been working. I still try to avoid over-crowded areas but I live in Santa Monica anyway where there is a lot of people. Yoga, exercise, walks, meditation, healthful foods, and teas help calm my mental state when I'm stressed from people.IP: Logged |

A few years back, I used to carpool with my Aqua boss. I don't talk in the mornings, so for conversation she would call her friends. During the 20 minute drive, she'd call friend after friend, talking briefly to 4 or 5 different people. I could never do something like that! When talking one on one, I get so in tune with the other person, that I need some time afterward to feel only myself. If I bombarded myself with partner after partner, I would suffer from identity vertigo. It may seem contradictory, but I love spending time with a big group of friends. I also like being part of large groups in other ways -- parties, artistic performances, orgies. (Just checking if you're paying attention with that last one. ) At those times I don't usually get overwhelmed by psychic overload because I tune primarily into the group's energy as a whole rather than into one specific person. The group becomes like one organism to me and that feeling can be such a high. For the most part, when I tune into someone else, it's simply me perceiving them. Their mood affects me, but I experience it as sympathy. I don't feel confused about the source of the emotions I'm feeling. Unlike some people I know like this, it's clear to me if the emotion has its roots in myself or someone else. Less often, I have what I guess could be called telepathic experiences. I'll be with someone, and I'll hear words spoken in my head immediately prior to that person speaking them out loud. I've never tried to control this. It's just something that's there sometimes, and has been since I was a kid. I've also had some prophetic dreams, and once dreamed about an event at the same moment it was occurring. So why am I such a nut? My 1st house is connected with all the water houses. --Scorpio Asc --Ruler, Pluto in the 12th house cnj my Sun/Moon mp --Mercury cnj Uranus in my 1st house. Airy planets, but for me they're also watery. Besides being in Scorpio, Mercury rules my 8th house and Uranus rules my 4th. I'm sure my Neptune influence also plays a role in this. I have Neptune cnj my Sun, trine my Moon, semisquare my Asc.

Hmm I have stelliums in both my 4th and 8th house. Sun, Asc, Venus and Merc in aspect with Neptune. And a Pisces DSCAnd no I don’t have feelings like I feel something and its not my own feeling etc. But I’m very good at reading people yes. The tiniest nuances in their voices and expressions. Even when a person has a cold poker face I will sense if the person is trying to hide his/her vulnerability. Also as said I don’t feel like someone elses energy is taking over mine, I think that is more of a pisces and 12th house thing. I’m good at protecting my ”bubble”. I’m although very sensetive to negative energies. I get very defensiv if I walk into a room with people with negative energies. I get closed off and defensiv. And I will leave that room as soon as possible bc I can not stand it! Everytime I have been outside my home when I return I will take a shower even if I’m not sweaty bc water amongst other things cleans one of negative energies from other people. I also know other people feels my emotions very fast, especially if I’m in a bad mood or angry my negative energies seems very potent. But I thought it was my Sun oppo pluto and 8th house stellium^^ IP: Logged |
