I've often been a bit baffled as to how to deal with my name asteroid in the other party's chart especially when it links back to a point in your chart.I've often interpreted your name asteroid in their chart as how they see you and how you would move them (what house and sign), just like a planet in overlays. Likewise, my name asteroid in my chart, I'd see it as how I see myself. Ok, I've noticed with Daniel Johns that my name asteroid in his chart sits on my Vx and is three degrees from my NN. My Daniel asteroid conj his Sun. How would you interpret these things and would you agree with my understanding of my name asteroid in other people's chart.

I also think that we can tell a bit about how someone sees us by looking at our name asteroid in their chart. X3 In my case, my name falls on my bf's Sun/Moon midpoint.
Also, you might want to try looking at the name asteroids in a composite chart. quote:

It could be that the image he has about you helps you to grow?
Well, his name in your chart conjunct his Sun can mean that he is the Daniel you'd meet/come to know, or the person that fits the image of Daniel you have.IP: Logged |

23,I definitely agree.
I found it interesting, that in several charts of other people my name will fall into Pisces and will conjunct my 1st house ruler (Neptune is also on my ASC).
Now, in your example:
If Daniel is conjunct his Sun, then it shows that this is not ANY Daniel, but that this special Daniel actually has something of that energy that you identify with the name.
Interestingly I have something similiar with Jude.
My name in his chart conjuncts my Sun.
Also, I definitely identify with my nameasteroid in my chart. It falls into Taurus in 5th house, sextile Juno, sextile Saturn and square Moon. Makes sense to me. At least my mum sometimes tell me that I can be as stubborn as a bull.
It`s true, if I realy don`t want to do something, noone will be able to move me even an inch.
And I do not have much fixed quality (well Moon is in Aquarius in 2nd house, maybe that would emphasise that theme a bit).
