Hi guys ^_^ Any of you know what this aspect means?

Also, Saturn/Uranus midpoint and Neptune/Pluto midpoint are sitting on the DC, but well, I'm more curious about what AC conjunct NN and Chiron means. Anyone? X3

Dont do Chiron, the Magi Society do, so best to go and see them about it. Second thoughts, maybe not

For the node question, Jan Spiller has written an excellent book called "astrology for the soul"

The nodes have been attributed to future life (north) and past life (south)
Or something similar, never know which
The n.node is where you need to head in this life to completes spiritual growth (or some rubbish like that) while the s.node is what you already have in abudance, guessing from past lives.

Not so far out, I like the way the nodes have been interpreted.

N.node in the 1st can mean: In the past (s.node in 7th house) you were all about relationships and the other person/partner.
In the present/future (n.node in 1st house) you need to concentrate on developing your personality and be a little bit selfish, rather than focusing on partner.

Selfish can seem a bad word, it is not. Very healthy to be selfish. Everything in moderation.

Coffee, I agree with you, I also see NN as the direction where we should head to, while the SN is what we already have. ^_^ But in this case, how do we apply this idea in a composite chart? I've been wondering about this aspect, yet since I can't really understand the meaning of the DC in the composite chart, I still find it a bit hard to understand the relation between NN and AC. >_<

Maybe it could be interpreted as the path of this relationship is to find the identity of this relationship, yet this sounds kinda abstract to me so I'm not sure lol. ^_^;

Good question! None too sure as I dont really have many composites with experiences to go by.

Taking a guess, 7th in composite is possibly "other" relationships. Maybe like your best mate and her partner, or does that go under 11th?

None too sure.

there are other astrologers that specialize in Chiron.

Zane Stein is probably the most well known Chiron pioneer. Also there is Melanie Reinhart, Barbara Hand Clow, and Eric Francis.

the astronomical oriented astrologers tend to study the centaurs and transneptunians.
Some even proposed names of centaurs that got accepted by astronomers. Nessus was the first of those.

actually I have been member of a yahoo group that specializes in centaurs, transneptunians since 2000.

Magi Society doesn't have the monopoly when it comes to the use of Chiron

here are keywords of Chiron according to Philip Sedgwick

Chiron: The wounded healer who possesses insight, wisdom and grace. Orbital Period: 50.27 yr.

Positive - healing, just, wise, fair, insightful, knowledgeable, skilled in arts, medicine, healing, philosophy, focused, positively full of one’s self, sense of soul’s purpose

Negative - opinionated, teaching others the lessons needed by oneself, wounding, corrupt, illicit, irritating demeanor, clinging, feeling homely or unwanted, estranged from parents

Mundane - healing of all types from allopathic medicine and surgery to chiropractic and all forms of homeopathy and naturopathy, soul retrieval, justice, mentoring programs, cave exploration, illegitimate offspring, archery

Ceremonial - soul retrieval, any natural healing modality, chiropractors, retreats - especially in caves, ceremonial chambers or kivas, making a talking stick or ceremonial arrow
http://www.philipsedgwick.com/

also here is Zane Stein's CHIRON AND FRIENDS site http://www.zanestein.com/chiron.htm

another thing

Chiron is said to link the orbits of Saturn and Uranus.
Saturn/Uranus midpoint is said to Chiron-sensitive. That means that aspects to Saturn/Uranus midpoint are like aspects to Chiron.

Maybe the 7th can be as it is in natal - partnership/marriage.

If you have n.node in 1st, that could show as staying single, not comitting. Or not commiting more than you have already.

Someone better tell them!

I like how its rulership has been given to Virgo, somewhat suits. The mythology was more for Sagittarius no?

It makes no sense for Chiron to rule any sign.
What about the 15 other named centaurs? Chiron is one of 65 centaurs in our solar system. Those objects actually from the kuiper belt. Comets come from that area too.

What about Ceres? It's a dwarf planet, and it's much larger than Chiron. That's why Ceres is classed as a dwarf planet and Chiron isn't. Another thing, the Greeks viewed the Virgo constellation as Ceres' Greek counterpart,Demeter.

quite a few kuiper belt objects are larger than Ceres.....especially Eris which is larger than Pluto. Makemake and Haumea are not much smaller than Pluto. Sedna,Orcus,Ixion are larger than Ceres. Varuna is not much smaller.

there is also another kuiper belt object nicknamed Snow White that is not much smaller than Sedna and larger than Orcus.

Glaucus, thank you for the information!

Coffee, I wonder if the DC in the composite could mean how we see the relationship as "us"? I'm wondering also if any planets on the DC could affect both of the couple in the relationship, and showing if they're either more focusing on each of themselves or in both of them. It's kinda confusing thought. ^_^;

I think the Composite Ascendant conjunct North Lunar Node and Chiron could indicate that the relationship have a feel having a sense of purpose that might be of a healing, teaching nature, and a sense of wholeness. There is a danger that the relationship could be used as making each other whole....one person tries to heal the other or heal each other.

Somebody in the relationship might have been wounded too,and so require some type of healing.

there is also the possibility of getting hurt in the relationship too.

Chiron is known to be a maverick. It's a nonconformist with its highly eccentric orbit.
it could indicate the possibility of being a nonconforming relationship like there could be a considerable age difference, religious differences, interracial relationships.

Chiron also fits with "specialness" ...like things like special education, health problems, and other things that can be viewed as "special"

those are just possibilities. That doesn't mean that the Chiron aspects will manifest that way.

Glaucus, actually I was wondering if it would have anything to do with healing and pain as well. But I still can't understand the nature of Chiron well, and neither can see the link between my relationship and the symbolism of this aspect yet, so I guess that I'll still have to do some further research (as you said, it can manifest in many ways).

the main thing about Chiron is the wounded healer.

so it does have to do with pain and healing.

in mythology, Chiron was the son of Cronus and Philyra. His mother abandoned him because of his half human, half horse influence. That was his first wound. his father didn't accept him either.

Chiron taught was a mentor to great heroes like Heracles,Achilles. He taught the healing arts to Asclepius who surpassed him because he was the son of the healing god,Apollo.

he was accidentally wounded by Heracles by one of his poisoned Hydra blood tipped arrows when Heracles was fighting the other centaurs. The centaurs don't share the lineage of Chiron. They descend from the mortal,Ixion. There is a large kuiper belt object named Ixion.

It is said that he took Prometheus' place in the underworld to escape the pain of his wound that he couldn't heal.

Chiron like other centaurs is a nonconformist. It's hard to understand the energy unless you know it personally.

I have Chiron sextile Midheaven,North Lunar Node, trine Jupiter, and parallel Ascendant.

I can relate to the Chiron myth on a deep personal level when you consider things like my multiracial heritage, my history of special education, never knowing my father, and things like being abused by my mother and stepfather. Of course,my interest in the healing arts. I am certified in massage therapy.
I also want to help others with special education needs just like I was helped.

Chiron tends to compassion through painful experences.

using your experiences of pain to help others who have similar experiences.

Chiron was also said to be an astrologer, and used Astrology to understand the destinies of his pupils to help guide them in that direction.
