Awwww, I'm sorry Lucia23. If it helps, I have a scorpio moon and cancer rising so I kind of know where you're coming from.

Thanks, Taurean_Scorpion. I love Scorpio Moons, so intriguing.

I think I might be unfairly maligning my natal moon--I just checked my transits and transiting Saturn and Ceres are conjunct my natal Mars. Cafe Astrology says that Saturn-Mars transit feels horrible.

For myself it is GREAT!

I have a cancer moon that squares my mars in 6th house and opposes my mercury in the 9th house.
I am not sure what all that means as yet and I am still trying to understand it all but all I can say is that my cancer moon rarely befits the descriptions I read about.

One thing that is inceredibly beneficial about having this water moon( and I guess the venus and Pluto scorpio helps),is that I am very conscious of the environment I enter into and have learned (as I grow wiser) to "read" people and not be as abrasive as some other folks who share my Sagittarius sun appear to behave.

I can say that the water moon contributes considerably towards my personality in the most beneficial way(even though I don't quite understand the aspects completely).

I LOVE MY MOON, ITS THE BEST!

Take my Aries moon for a ride, Lucia. It's in the 12th house, so it would be like a try before you buy, and having a plugged-in toaster dropped on your head as you're test driving (blindfolded) in the rain. It's fun for like a week, and that's about it

I'd swap you for a week for a nice moon in a water sign, and Cancer at that, where the moon is meant to be.
Either way, I feel for you, and I'm sorry things have been difficult

EDIT: Hard Saturn transits on your Mars can really suck, I know what you mean! But it also gave me mega-focus after a while, and this thing about knowing exactly when, where, and how to spend energy, and into what tasks....so, it's definitely got an up side to it.

Okay, I'll borrow the 12th house Aries moon for a week...I'm thinking prophetic dreams about daredevilry.

Glad to hear from people so happy with their Cancer moons!

I didn't know you had Aries Moon! Your post was hilarious!

Lucia23,

I've always been intrigued by the Moon. I used to know three women with Moon in Cancer- one of them was Sun Capricorn, the other two were both Sun Aquarius. It really depends, you know? Your Moon house position, your Moon apsects, all the other aspects...the influences from the transits...sorry, I cannot seem to provide any opinion that is truly helpful.

I am a stellium 12th houser, with Jupiter, Mars and Moon in the 12th. Would you like to try Moon in Leo (fire!!!) or Moon in Virgo (earth) for a week or so? I'm not so sure, though, that I would want to try Moon in Cancer for a whole week!!!!!!!!! I am most fascinated by Moon in Cancer, where Moon in at home/at it's rulership/dignified- but having Cancer Moon somehow means that life is, or say- daily life is...not quite easy for you

The opposite of love is indeed hate, not indifference- for indifference is a form of detachment, and both love and hate are two forms of attachment, and detachment is naturally the opposite of attachment. Within the department of attachment, however, love and hate are each other's polar opposite, though oftentimes there is a fine line between the two and though many have experienced feelings mixed with both love and hate and the hate that has once been love. There are many theories of the relationships between love and hate, but ultimately, hate is death force, which destroys, and hence leads to untimely or chronic destruction; whereas love is life force, which nurtures, and creates life- life that stems from love, full of love- true life.

Really cancer moon is that bad? i m cancer rising so i see cancer. I didnt imagine the moon there to be that bad. Because moon means our instinct reaction and cancer is about protection and nurturing of oneself and loved one.
I know someone with moon in cancer and i would love to know what it means to have moon there.

Well, my Cancer moon doesn't make me feel needy or feel unloved, but it is utterly ridiculous in its own way. Mine is in the sixth house, and so I am ultra-sensitive when it comes to my job, which is not fun when you're an attorney. Last week, I missed a calendar call in a judge's part by a few minutes and therefore my adversary won his motion by default. The tears welled up IMMEDIATELY and I COULD NOT STOP THEM. This kind of thing is very very embarrassing for me. Right off the bat I started worrying what my bosses would do; would they fire me, would they be angry, would they find my explanation of why I was late flimsy? I cannot tell you guys how many times in my legal career I have started crying and become overly stressed about something that other people would just take in stride. It overwhelms my entire being; the thought of failing at work, of losing my job. Just awful. And with this current job, I have to be at any given courthouse in the New York area almost every morning, and it has to be ON TIME, despite train delays, or delays set up by my 4 year old refusing to get dressed for school, etcetera. I have been an emotional wreck! Also, I have to take deposition testimony from defendants in cases in which our office represents plaintiffs hurt by medical malpractice of the defendants. Some of these defendants are medical doctors, some nurses. I find it difficult to ask the questions in a cold manner and I usually find myself consumed with how bad they must feel having their mistakes rubbed in their faces (as I am doing the questioning, since it is my job to prove their liability). This makes my job really uncomfortable at times. And, as I'm writing this, I think it might be time to think about what else I can do to make a living!!

Sorry you feel that way. Being a Cancer (Sun) myself Ithink I can understand where you're coming from. However, I will glady give you my unemotional, structure loving Capricorn Moon squaring Saturn and Pluto.
Oh well, look at the positive side..at least yours it "at home" :P

you don't like your cancer moon?? well try having a pisces moon!! I think that one's the worst... ALWAYS overemotional, ALWAYS feel vulnerable, very easily overloaded with life and very easily fall into depression.... NOT TO MENTION... if you don't have enough emotions of your own, try absorbing the emotions of everyone around you on top of that! lol... sorry got a little carried away there lol...

It could be that Saturn/Mars transit that's making you feel this way though. I had Saturn opposing my Mars 4 months ago, and I went through a horrible depression... worst 2.5 months of my life!! I find that if you're really having a hard time with your emotions, St. John's Wort and fish oil supplements really help... they really do make a HUGE difference...
