Any opinions on what this energy would be like in a man's chart, I'm sure it's really challenging? What if a woman's moon (who is a love interst) tied in closely with this configuration? Could it be dangerous?

Yes and no. It really depends on the person, how well they can control themselves. Of course a woman's Moon being tied in this configuration will activate it and it is likely to raise up some painful and very intense issues for the man - again, it makes all the difference in the world how these issues are expressed and dealt with.
I have Mars oppsite Saturn&Pluto and, yes, it is difficult. But once in a while we need people to activate that kind of energy so we can reexamine it and deal with it more properly. Hopefully one day we'll get it right. It takes lots of self-awareness. If the man in question lacks it, be careful.
