I have one if someone can work it out for me please....team effort and all that....that and I cant be bothered right now.

If you assume that an aspect has an orb of 15 degrees either side, which means that no planet is unaspected, how many combinations in total are there as aspects?

Take an Aries rising chart. 1st ruler Mars will aspect all the rulers from 2 to 12.
Then the second house ruler, Venus, will aspect all the same.

Obviously taking into account Venus and Mercury which rules 2 signs.

Venus ruler of the second will aspect:
Ruler of third (mercury)
Ruler of fourth (moon)
Ruler of fifth (sun)
Ruler of eight (pluto)
Ruler of nine (juptier)
Ruler of tenth (saturn)
Ruler of eleventh (uranus)
Ruler of 12th (neptune)
= 8

And so on..

Aspect from ruler of 3rd = 7
From ruler of 4th = 6
From ruler of 5th = 5
From ruler of 6th and 7th already counted (2nd and 3rd)
From ruler of 8th = 4
From ruler of 9th = 3
From ruler of 10 th= 2
From ruler of 11th = 1

Therefore, in total, 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=45

if aries is asc:

the house rulers are as follow (in equal house)

ruler of I : mars
ruler of II : venus
ruler of III : mercury
ruler of IV : moon
ruler of V : sun
ruler of VI : mercury
ruler of VII : venus
ruler of VIII : pluto
ruler of IX : jupiter
ruler of X : saturn
ruler of XI : uranus
ruler of XII : neptune

there are 10 planets, so mars can aspect only 9 other planets. venus aspects 8 (9 planets minus mars), mercury 7 (9 minus mars and venus), moon 6 (9 minus mars,venus and mercury), sun 5, pluto 4, jupiter 3, saturn 2, uranus 1 and neptune has already been aspected by all of them.

Noel Tyl swears by the 24th harmonic

his favorite is the 165 degree aspect which he calls the quindecile, but Steven Blashcke calls it the contraquindecile

I have close 24th harmonics myself

My Moon is squine (105 degree) Mercury with 10 minutes of arc, and it has been hit by Pluto through semisextile to Moon and semisquare Mercury at the same time.

You’ve got some of the laziness and ease that comes with a trine, but at the same time some of the problems of the square. You’ve got an incomplete tool that doesn’t have quite a sharp enough edge but it isn’t fully automatic, so you have to put some energy into it, and this is essential to do a good job. I call it the “Diamond in the rough aspect”. 1 degree orb even with Sun or Moon.”

I believe the orbs for the 24th harmonic should be no more than half a degree. I can't see them being more than that....not even up to 1 degree.

higher harmonics should have narrower orbs.
