I was just thinking last night that I've had the most crisis and activity when an outer planet sextiles or trines my planets. I had completely forgotten this. I think it's because I natally have a lot of trines and sextiles, so it sets off so much energy in my chart and it's hard to handle.I've had saturn square moon and venus, as an example, and it's actually been wonderful. When saturn goes into libra, well...I'm actually a little scared. Anyone else have this issue? IP: Logged |

This might fall into my nothing substantial to grip onto theory. As when discussed on the recent 'worst outer planetary transits' thread, Uranus on my chart is so happiy in the 11th house in a Grand Trine I have wondered if this explains the jolt to the system when he moves around the chart. So, are you saying you think it's true? I believe the theory that nothing will happen if it doesn't reflect the natal chart. Therefore, a bad transit to my sun won't really affect me because I have no bad aspects to my sun. so no result. No action, no conflict, no matter how bad the aspect. But good aspects that mimic my natal aspects produce a lot of activity. It's happened to me a bunch of times, while the bad aspects don't matter unless I have a bad aspect of the planet natally. BM -I just read what you wrote (in that thread yu referenced) and I now understand. You agree, but don't know why it's so. "It has to be promised in the natal" is a cardinal rule that most astrologers agree on...it just gets lost in the shuffle. I also think *some* astrologers want to make $$$ so they discard this in favor of alarming people. IP: Logged |

Are any of your outer planets retrograde? I've noticed that my natal retrograde Saturn and Uranus have been squared by transiting Saturn and Uranus, this supposedly is a heavy transit, but I haven't noticed anything. In fact all transits that are hitting these retrogrades never seem obvious to me, unless I'm just not that in tune? IP: Logged |

My pluto is retrograde. I think that's it. Do you have good aspects to your outer planets? IP: Logged |

All the outer planets in my chart seem are badly aspected. Saturn and Uranus (1st) RX oppose my Venus (7th), and Neptune (1st) is also RX and is square Mars (4th). A few years ago when Saturn was in Leo, it was conjunct and then trine my Sun, that was a terrible transit, in fact I think any trines involving Saturn just aren't compatible with the nature of Saturn or at least if you're Saturn is retrograde and badly aspected...IP: Logged |

My Sun is conjunct Mercury, trine Mars, and Square Pluto. The Pluto square definitely afflicts my natal sun since its located in the 8th H (Scorpio house) as well...IP: Logged |
