I have always been fascinated with these historical characters! What placements or aspects would makes someone very adventurous and wild and at the same time very drawn to the oceans?

Agreed--a combination of strong Sag and Pisces, 9th and 12th house, Jupiter and Neptune influences.

pirates were much more romantic and adventerous to me when they were just stories. real pirates aren't even interesting. no more than a land thief.

"Agreed--a combination of strong Sag and Pisces, 9th and 12th house, Jupiter and Neptune influences."

LOL that explains much. At least my fascination for the romanticised version of filmpirates (starting with the old Errol Flynn films *sighs* oh what wonderful sundays those were!)

Sun conjunct Mercury in SAg
Mars in 12th house conjunct ASC conjunct NN conjunct Neptune in Sag
Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house square Neptune on ASC

Point proven I think.

Something I've noticed personally:
Jupiter in hard aspects to neptune or jupiter in Pisces; mars in hard aspect to jupiter or mars in sag

Yes I am assuming everyone means the romanticized/fantasy adventurer-pirates from movies/stories...

I went to this party on Saturday night and someone there had a 45 yr old parrot on his shoulder.

It jumped me from behind whilst i was dancing and l nearly died on the spot... so maybe it sensed the pirate 'aye me hearties' in my chart! lol

Sounds like a cool book Lanoke, but I would think jupiter, mars, and neptune. Wouldn't the planet of adventure and travel be strongly involved? I guess pluto could figure in on the violence/ murder aspect of some of it, also to take by force.

Also, what about mars neptune aspects? Mars(action/violence/adventure); Neptune(ocean, idealism, criminality/dishonesty)

Ok heres me for example. Ever since I was a little girl the only thing I wanted to be was to grow up and be an *sskicking, cutlass swinging bad*ss chick just like Anne Bonny!

sun conj pluto
moon in the 9th
mars in sag conj uranus(angular)
mars exactly parallel neptune
jupiter square neptune
