I've been thinking about marriage charts and weather or not it is also the chart for the family you create. If so, does that disappear when one of the partners dies or for one of the children when they get married. I'm assuming it would disappear for the whole family with a divorce. Just a random query? IP: Logged |

The family chart is based on the surname. when someone starts with a family surname, that is when the chart is made.If a family changes surname, that would be the start of a new family. Although not sure how smiliar family names with different blood (and unrelated people) would work out. It is the same name, but not the same family. IP: Logged |

Interesting. I guess that means it would be pretty impossible to get a correct chart. My family seems to go through everything together so I was hoping there was a way to look at a governing chart. IP: Logged |

I had that idea, to start a new family name, and probably will, just for the experiment.Call it something never before heard of .... dghgdghswghdwddghwgdhson. No-one will have thought about that before. Although that is many years away and very unlikely to happen. IP: Logged |

Good question. Not sure at all. Gess it could work with first names too. Too many people with the name "James" around. IP: Logged |
