I do. My mars is 13 virgo and IC is 18 virgo. I read it was about anger. Im someone irritable, even though it's hidden most of the time. By hidden i mean inside i get angry but outside i remain cool. Or at least that is my intention, but seeing the reactions that i create in others, i think i may not be that good at keeping these emotions inside. ( my mars is sextile ASC exactly). But, yeah, i get easily angry for some reason which would probably not call for this kind of reactions. My moon also conjunct pluto, and mars is semi-square moon, so i do have other aspects i can blame for it though. ------------------ All my life, I always wanted to be somebody. Now i see that i should have been more specific. Lily tomlin IP: Logged |

Is the anger triggered by domestic things such as cleaning, etc.. My Mars is aspected well except for one aspect - Mars square Neptune, Neptune is the ruler of my moon and Neptune is also in the first house, so sometimes I sorta repress my anger into a physical thing, like slamming doors and stomping around...IP: Logged |

pire, you might like this:- quote: Ascendant Sextile MarsYou usually express yourself with persistence and determination. You are fearless in saying what is on your mind, and careless as well. You assert yourself enthusiastically but impulsively. This lack of temperance in expressing your opinions tends to put people on the defensive. Because you are somewhat of a "live wire" people come to expect the unexpected form you. With so much nervous energy, it is not easy for you to sit still for very long. When your body is not in motion, your tongue is, and this is how most of your problems in relationships begin. Although you may want harmony in dealing with people, it is not evident from your actions. If you learn to reflect before you speak, you will avoid saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. You want to be admired by your friends for having a mind of your own and the courage to speak up when you feel you should. You need their support because you are not always that sure of yourself. You work hard at your career, perhaps doing more than is expected of you if you work under supervision, and certainly so if you are self- employed. There is some danger that you actually do more than you should, because much of your effort comes from nervous energy. You feel challenged by competitors and want to prove that you are more competent than they are. By being well informed, you are prepared to take on any responsibility when the opportunity is offered. You need greater self-discipline to get the full benefit of your creative ability. If you can consolidate your efforts toward a specific objective, you will always manage to succeed. Your zest for living is dramatically shown by your boundless enthusiasm in everything you do. Do not waste it in non productive enterprises or in a useless show of superior strength.

I have Mars exact conjunct IC in Aquarius/4th house. I had a childhood home full of fighting and yelling and anger. There is a lot of anger and yelling in my adult household with me as the mother as well, and it is probably hidden from all people except those closest to me.IP: Logged |

Reviving this a bit as i'm looking into it.I have Mars c. IC in Virgo. My father was a virgo and I was mostly afraid of and equally in awe of him. Home life was volatile growing up but I remained mute mostly though witnessed a lot - too much I think. Saturn in 9th Aquarius helps a lot I think as it's opposite my mars and in a T square with Jupiter and sun. Mars/IC is the opposite of the Saturn T. It shaped my choices as an adult. I've never married nor wanted children in large part because of my experiences in childhood. Never really had a childhood. I also have pluto and uranus conjunct mars - all in 4th virgo - but only mars is 1 degree orb of the IC. I'm very hard worker, educated, like detailed research and history and prefer quiet, calm places. Oddly, when i'm around, everyone in my family says they feel better and feel calm even when I'm not saying anything (which is most of the time). Other people say the same. Tho this mars on ic....everywhere I have ever lived has had volatily happen to it or around it. I'm tired of it. Unlike those above, I don't express my anger. It takes a long time to build and I spend that time trying to understand the other people who are flipping out around me. When it gets bad enough that I feel it's necessary to speak, I lay it out factually and generally completely sever the relationship and walk away. Now I just avoid volatile or loud people. Literally can't bear to be around it - affects my health plus it seems unnecessary and inconsiderate of others. Sun in 6th house also which is ruled by mercury which has nothing but squares in it for me natally. Family is no longer in my life and i'm much relieved, less anxious and on edge. IP: Logged |

Interesting Bear9. I should explain more what I've come to realize about Aries Mars conjunct IC - since posting this. I've recently delved back into astrology and read something that was really relevant to me with this placement - I was raised by a very feminist single mom that ended up being the sole disciplinarian as a child. And basically played the "father role" as well. As an adult - I'm also a very independent women, I'm totally okay with being by myself - never had needed male approval or validation. And It being on the IC - gives it a more private vibration. Like I'm always motivated to clean, organize and very close to my family - especially my mother. Anyways thanks for bumping this post. I feel like I have more insight on it now than when I originally posted this. IP: Logged |

I relate so much to that. I have Pluto in Scorpio/9th in addition to Moon/Mars conjunct Gemini IC. I've always loved research and learning in quiet places. The library (as long as nobody loud is in there) is literally my favorite place to be. Re: the second part - very true for me as well. Everyone, from college roommates, to family and friends always comment that they feel safer and calmer around me. quote: Now I just avoid volatile or loud people. Yeah, internalized anger really messes with my health, too. Being around negativity and hostility is just too much sometimes. My 6th house cusp is in Cancer and I'm a triple Virgo. ---- Gemini IC at 2, Mars 4, Moon 5 IP: Logged |

My cousin has this placement, and she has Uranus conjunct her MC as well. She is a Taurus Sun with Pisces Asc and Cap Moon, and I have to think that any anger she feels is bottled up. She has health problems that I suspect are due to this (digestive issues), but she doesn't really seem open to the possibility that she might be repressing anger (not that I've pushed that idea on her, as I could be mistaken, but I brought it up as an idea once). Her Mars/IC is also in Gemini. IP: Logged |

I have Mars conjunct IC in Capricorn - Mars falls in the 3rd House instead of the 4th.My household was volatile at times, oh yes. But we had good times as well, it wasn't all just DOOM & GLOOM. I did feel loved! But I had a lot of high expectations put onto me at a young age. It's like I was seen as a "mini adult" even as a child. I was handling my mother's business dealings for her by the time I was 15 years old - since she sucked at it. I sometimes feel taken for granted - and I'll speak up about that. But my family usually has great faith in me to lead. My family surely has it's ups and downs. But if you come for my family...be prepared to get your f*cking head knocked OFF. I'm very protective! It's a mixed bag. Or maybe I'm just tough. LOL IP: Logged |

Digestive issues are spot-on, at least for me. I've literally bottled up stuff until I was sure that I had an ulcer. I feel like earth signs (except for maybe Capricorn) are not good at expressing their anger in general. It seems like we just want to chew on what bothers us over and over again until we drive ourselves crazy. That might just be me, though. IP: Logged |

Vertiver, that's very interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience with this. Having Aries on IC seemed intense but I understand it better now. I'm glad it has worked out so well for you. We are similar - independent, never married women - I relate a lot. Was very close to and took care of my Mom before she died. My moon is Aries, mom has venus in aries...not sure if this is why. Lot at play I expect with this.StubbornVirgo, your IC placements sound wonderful. I'd rather have that. With your 6th house Cancer and moon in 4th, that would speak to the stomach upsets too. Or at least it makes sense to me. My Dad had a lot of digestive issues as well. He was also triple Virgo, in 10th. He drank antacid medicine often. I can understand why your friends feel calm around you. Love libraries also. Internet invention has been heaven :-) Violets, that's interesting. Your cousin having Pisces on Asc with all that earth stabilizing yet Gemini on IC...I can see why the stomach upsets too. Fixed earth is hard; no movement or shifting, not with ease I mean, as far as I know. Does she do yoga or meditation? LovelyAries86, i'm happy yours has been joyful and your family is close. I used to be very similar. Life has worn me down in tolerance etc. Enjoy your family :-) About the digestive issues, mine ended up being a legit illness which is rare and apparently inherited from my father. Astrology has been valuable source of research to further understand things. Glad you're all here on this forum. Thanks so much for the conversation everyone. I really needed more input on this.

Apologies for this extra post but I forgot - the main thing I was wondering is for everyone with mars on IC - how are your neighbors? Any issues around where you live suddenly happening etc?I didn't make a connection to this possibility until recently and i'm over 50 now. But when I look back, now I wonder, so wanted to ask others if they experienced issues with home safety or neighbor issues? IP: Logged |

Yes to the home safety and neighbor issues. Our first home suffered a major fire. We rebuilt though, and lived there for a few years. After we had lived in our second home for over a decade, we came home to find that one of our doors had been pried open. Luckily our dogs kept the intruder from entering. We had been living in our 3rd home for a month or so when a door was broken (again while we were gone) but the deadbolt and dogs saved us once again. We've had stuff stolen that was outside our house too, even though we've always lived in decent neighborhoods. We've always had problems with aggressive and/or controlling neighbors. At this point I just ignore them as best I can. No quoting please. IP: Logged |

Ah that helps. Thank you! Same here mostly. I ignore too. Now I don't even try to speak with neighbors. Aggressive and controlling people don't care to resolve conflicts I've found. IP: Logged |

Not directly, but my mom's Mars falls on my IC (Taurus). We' ve always had a very combative relationship. We love each other but it's always been fight after fight after...you get my drift. And since we're talking about Taurus, the fighting is regular (we joke about it sometimes), related to mundane things/daily life and always the same repertoire, without any change in the horizon.
