And then all of that action happening in your 9th House. Will you be learning something, publishing something? Are you religious or spiritual. With SA Mars=Mercury I think of active communication, arguing, possibly finding that you can't stop talking, lecturing or writing. There may be lots of travel involved whether it's long distance or short distances.

What houses does Mercury rule in your chart, that's of the utmost importance. The houses that Mercury rules will be the ones most affected.

With SA Jupiter=Mercury - Intellect; thoughts about the spirit; legal issues; travel.[Tyl]

I am religious and I have been thinking about life and people's actions in spiritual-religious tones a lot. Philosophizing, I guess. I do that, though, with my mercury in the 9th and my sagittarius planets.

Lol, I've been arguing recently. That has ended (I hope!). I like to discuss things heatedly, but don't really like to argue. Sometimes the line is fine and passions flare, though.

I have thought of writing a book, but who hasn't? I feel like I am supposed to write it, though. I don't want to, because now it feels like an obligation, like a monkey on my back, and I'd just rather not. Sigh.

I forgot to add: SA venus is on my MC, along with the moon! Venus rules my 1st and 6th houses. So, to sum it up, I have: Moon, Venus, Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter in my 9th house. Neptune has just passed my mercury.

To build on what Glaucus wrote, these Solar Arc measurements are in effect for 6 to 9 months each so, for example, it's not about arguing lately, it's rigorouos communication and debate for a long period of time, making action plans, setting those philosophical energies into serious motion, etc.

I'm very curious about your SA Venus=MC right now. That's a very strong signal for marriage either for you or someone very close to you. What's going on in the relationship department?

My SA venus isn't really considered in effect right now. It will be more of an issue in the next two years as it applies. It's getting close, though. My pVenus will change signs next year and conjunct my sun, so that will be a precursor to the SA venus hitting my MC.

The relationship department is non-existent right now. I get asked out, but I am not able to be in any type of relationship atm, for reasons I don't want to get into. I would like one, but I can't let myself have one at this time.

I know. I should view it (The book) that way. It's the first thing I thought when I saw all of those planets in the 9th and on my mercury. It's just...hard.

I don't even know why I am posting this, because no one can tell me what I should do, and I am not even looking for that anyway. I just want to see if this conflict fits in with the SA.

I don't know anything about SAs so can't help you on that front, but I agree with Geo that this is your time to do it! My Solar Return chart has some similar activity in the 9th.

Also, what helps me is to make a goal of writing X number of words/pages a day based on how soon you'd like to be finished. You have to stay focused with it, or it will be this thing that drags on forever. Once you get established, the creative process takes over and you get in a rhythm. At least that's been my experience.

I have been thinking about the book today. I know you have to even just write one page a day, but thank you for saying that, because a lot of people don't know that.
