Hello,I'm wondering what it means to have Uranus conjunct the South Node in synastry? I know someone whose South Node is conjunct my Uranus, and I haven't been able to find any information about this aspect. So I'd appreciate your thoughts as to what it means. Thank you for your time IP: Logged |

That could mean many things... my first thought, to get you brainstorming, is that it could mean the expression of your Uranus attributes raises old habits in the south node person.IP: Logged |

Here's from Cafe Astrology on the South Node:"Fear is associated with South Node issues. The South Node position is very often a point of great insecurity. We very much want what is represented by the South Node position, whether that is order in our lives (South Node in Virgo/6th house) or satisfaction in partnerships (South Node in Libra/7th house). However, the only way we can feel successful in these areas is through working on the qualities of the opposite sign (North Node position). We may resist doing this quite fervently, especially in the first 30 years of our lives, partly because we cannot see that letting go of some of our obsessions, and working on the polarity, will bring satisfaction to the South Node areas. " Depending on how developed this person is, you and others in your age group might have quite a rattling effect on them. Is Uranus conjunct their South Node in their own chart? IP: Logged |

the uranus can seem somewhat jarring to sn person, sorta shaking their foundation. also the sn person has something to teach conj planet person so i guess this would center around helping the uranus person to further indivduate and/or be comfortable standing out from the crowd, as in being ok to not fit in. if its generational then not certain, possibly keep the orb very tight, up to 2? would like more info on this as well since have noted this in a few synastries. Hi Lynn,Please check out the book entitled, The Astrology of Human Relationships by Frances Sakoian & Louis S. Acker. In it you'll find interpretations for the nodes in synastry. Hopes that helps. IP: Logged |
