I am surprised and sad to hear that. I hope whatever that requires a break from astrology, the situation will improve, and that you will return to astrology soon, when time's right.

As for taking a break from astrology...I've been thinking a lot about this since Kismet's long thread on the subject. Web sites like this, with their rich possibilities for deep, probing psychological exploration (8th house, Pluto, Scorpio) and their ample opportunities for anonymous fantasy (scrutizing hundreds of asteroid connections with someone you get too nervous to talk to when you see him in the halls), mean that some of us can misuse the site at a lonely time. It never hurts to take a break.

I'm not at all saying that's Glaucus's situation--it's just that all these LL regulars wanting to take breaks from astrology, or to give it up, get me thinking. In my case, I don't have a problem with the astrology part, but lately I feel so lonely in real life, like I can't find deep, mutual connections...and passing the time on an astrology website gives me a place to obsess about things.

What I meant by taking a break from Astrology is that I meant taking a break from posting astrological stuff. I just want to sit back and just read stuff for awhile. A lot of good astrologers in the forum.

I really like how a lot of people are into asteroids. I love the asteroids myself,but I admit that I don't really look at them in synastry. Therefore, when I am asked to look at a person's synastry and they list a bunch of asteroid aspects, I get confused and overwhelmed. I find that just looking at the regular stuff can really show a lot. The asteroids can really fine-tune though. I actually prefer the use of asteroids in natal and return charts. I have seen weird stuff with the return charts. For example: my current solar return chart has asteroid Moran conjunct 9th house ruler Venus in Sagittarius within 1 degree, and conjuncts my natal Imum Coeli within 1 degree. In the lunar return chart for the period that I became a member of Spiritual Life Center (an interfaith unity church), Moran conjunct Moon in Pisces in 6th within 1 degree. In my natal chart, Moran is stationary direct in Pisces in my 7th house conjunct my Descendant within 2 degrees. It's also parallel my Sun within 1 degree. It is the apex of Yod with Uranus in Libra in 2nd and United Nations in Leo in 11th. All aspects are within 20 minutes of arc.
What's interesting about the asteroid,Moran?
Michael Moran is the senior minister of Spiritual Life Center! The asteroid,Unitas is in Sagittarius conjunct Neptune (7th house ruler,dispositor of Moon and Moran)with 2'08 orb,oppose retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th with 1'11 orb square Moon in Pisces with 46 minutes for a T-Square.

I met Reverend Moran in 1999 shortly after I got out of the navy,and so it took me 10 years to finally become a member.

that's just one example of weird asteroid synchronicity in Astrology that makes me wonder how much free will do we actually have. I do believe in both destiny and fate in some degrees.

Last Friday,I just recently received my Spiritual Life Center membership card in the mail,and I didn't know that I was going to get one. Nobody said anything about a membership card. It was a pleasant surprise. I am thinking of getting it laminated. I don't want to be messed up. I never joined any type of spiritual/religious organization before until May 31, 2009.

I agree about the retrogrades

all of them are making major aspects to my chart except Uranus

transiting Jupiter-Neptune are conjuncting my Mars in Aquarius in 6th and paralleling my Sun in Scorpio in 2nd.

Transiting Pluto is in my 4th squaring my Pluto in Libra 1st.

as for Uranus, it's in my 7th house and just making a semisextile to my Mars and opposing my Juno in Virgo in 1st.

On facebook,I have reconnected to quite a few old school friends that I haven't had contact with since 1991. One of them called me up on the phone the night that I added him. Another, the brother of another old school friend that I added just a couple of days ago, says that we can meet up in a week,and we can have lunch. We last saw each other in navy bootcamp in 1991. I have reconnected with 2 cousins of mine,and one of them I haven't had contact with since my grandfather's funeral in 1998. It turns out that she has similar beliefs as me,and she goes to a spiritualist church that her late mother (my great aunt) has been a long member of.

I have decided to read Elaine Aron's The Highly Sensitive Person In Love book..especially read up on the Highly Sensitive Male stuff. She even says that highly sensitive people fall in love harder than the average person too. She talks about the concept of soulmates too. I really recommend the book too. At least one person mentioned the transiting Jupiter in Aquarius, Uranus in Pisces, Neptune in Aquarius, Pluto in Capricorn, plus Chiron in Aquarius (not previously mentioned if memory serves; I'd just like to add that Chiron is also among the celestial bodies which- please read the following) ALL in retrograde, and that such multiple retrogrades, with specifically the aforementioned planets and asteroid, this seems to be a time for (paraphrasing; actually it will sound like my own words) introspection, reflection and retreat.

Interestingly, though, transiting Saturn in Virgo, 16 degrees is conjuncting my natal Jupiter in Virgo 7 degrees in the 12th, Moon in Virgo 9 degrees in the 12th (conj ASC), Mars in Virgo 13 degrees in the 12th (conj ASC), as well as my natal Saturn in Virgo 26 degrees in the 1st (yes- I am experiencing my first Saturn return, which commenced in early September 2007), while transiting Saturn in Virgo square my Neptune in Sagittarius (conj IC) in the 4th, square my IC, opposition my Venus in Pisces (conj DC) in the 7th, and square my MC (empty) in Gemini- thus forming a transiting Mutable grand square-

1 ) a mixture of friendly posts with a confrontational style of interaction

Which is practically ALL recent threads as well as the last time he quit.

4 ) They use gimmicks that win sympathy and bring out the ‘nurturing parent’ in other list members, which also suppresses any feelings of suspicion. E.g.: being blind, handicapped, an orphan, rejected, bullied etc..

aaarghhh, dont even get us started - which other members shares the honor of any other knowflake knowing everything about the tragedies of his life ???

I for instance suffer from Endometrosis and Menorrhagia , whhich gets complicated by a chronically low and hence dangerous levels of ferritin.

I agree and you are right on point.

The spirit of this place seems to favor a troll due to his so called "Astrological Knowledge" while turning a deaf ear towards the rest of the negativity he spews.

Every other thread has to turn into a wailing contest about his personal issues, and while I sympathize to a certain extent I feel it is mainly being done to extract sympathy over and over. What's sad though is that the majority of the kettle play along.

Also, the race issue (Like the thread about India among many other threads) is redundant, overplayed and extremely boring, I mean you have a Black president in office already, snap out of it and stop blaming society for your problems. That race card is always pushed for some strange reason.

The whole thing is just plain pathetic.

Venus is currently undergoing what we astrologers theoretically study as Pluto's Transformation. And this is with heavy Kundalini Energy and very traumatic past life recalls. Only the experiencer will know what it feels like. 1/10th of what the Stigmata heroine goes through, and without any kind of demonic posession. Pure Higher Self Energy.

When two natives with such energies clash, there would be plenty and plenty of friction, lava like.

Let the dust settle. Once VenusDe completes the full Kundalini Process, we will see remarkably different focus in her writings. And once Raymond returns from a break, he will amaze with further insights.

We should not lose chances of gaining useful knowledge by taking sides or bashing any [or both... ]

mars is conjunct my asc and algol.

sometimes, i just get my fill of seeing people being mean and feel like, you want a fight, come on, fight me.

I am uspset that BM is leaving and amongst others that have been compassionate, REAL and kind people, and i know this drivel and meaness from the spirit from some people is why.

it makes me angry. this is not how linda would want us treating each other. i know how to be a lover and a fighter and am comfortable enough with who i am that i am ok to be either on any given day.

i truly dont like mean people. nor do i feel the need to back down to them. if someone is being mean, i think, now theres a real as$hole.
