Dee, sometimes eclipses "eclipse" people from our lives, causing them to exit...and sometimes eclipses years later that hit the same degree can bring those people back into our lives. Or so I have read.

I'm feeling pretty good - Maybe I'm feeling the effects of the last 2 years of eclipses fading. I think there is only one to go that effects Leos and Aquarians. Then we get a break!!

Funny the mention of ex's returning bc I have ran into 3 of my ex's in the last week..I don't want any of them but that has been the story..And a couple of these guys I have not talk to or seen in over a year or two..

IQ, what are your thoughts on the upcoming solar eclipse?

(I am personally looking forward to it--it's in my 7th house, exactly conjunct my Venus at 29 degrees Cancer...Mars will be in my 5th house...the transiting SN will be conjunct my Venus and transiting Venus will be conjunct my natal SN.)

I've had a Solar Eclipse conjunct my Sun (and other Lunar Eclipses after that... I'm an Aquarius, it seems like we've been hit a lot lately) and I don't recall anything special happening.

The July 22nd eclipse will be in my 2nd house. Hopefully that means more money?? Can I hope for that or is that impossible

whoever suggested this eclipse might "eclipse" people from one's life, i think that is very insightful....it being a FULL MOON...i have been witnessing various endings not just here on LL.

it is maybe a time for us all to consider the effects of our words on others.

i have been feeling not so much anxious as discouraged, and in need of cleaning up my energy. in my experience it does no good to blame others though one CAN remove oneself from their sphere...or ignore them.

I know many disagree with me, but I don't think it will be a challenge...in the past, wonderful things have always happened to me with New Moon Solar Eclipses hitting my chart (emotional ick with Full Moon Lunar eclipses)...things like making love for the first time with a guy I had a crush on for 8 months, getting gratifying recognition for my work, meeting and bonding with someone amazing who would later be important to my career.

With the July 22 one falling in my 7th house, and TMars in my 5th, I am hoping to at best have a very romantic sexual encounter with someone I want really badly...at worst to just have a creative breakthrough (as I usually do when transiting planets conjoin my Venus.) In the May 1993 partial eclipse, several people I knew fell in love, and that's when I hooked up with my ex (who I was soooo crazy about at the time), and we had an unforgettably romantic night...in that case, the eclipse hit my 5th house, but it hit HIS 7th...in fact my transits for the July 22, 2009 eclipse very much remind me of his transits for the May 1993 eclipse.

I love New Moon Solar Eclipses...I don't know what will happen to me with this one, but I can at least hope. Lately I have been feeling like I'll never get to kiss someone I mutually like/want ever again, and I am praying for that to change.

Lara, because of your son's age, I think the eclipse will bring him an important and fun lesson about partnering, or a new, close friendship! Also, with that Cancer/mother stuff, maybe it will be a special bonding day for the two of you and the new puppy.

Geemeeni, we have a complicated relationship, and after getting rejected in a crappy, recent situation by someone else, I'm really not excited about having to twist someone's arm to hook up with me. I am a Leo woman with hair and breasts and lips (not to mention a Mercury and an Angel and lots of other things)...if a guy isn't interested enough in those things to take initiative, he probably isn't the right match.

I think I have been obsessing about this guy on Lindaland because I'm going through a fragile time when I haven't had a lot of courage in my own, real life and my confidence is low. I've been spending more time here obsessing than actually being with any man...so I need to make a change...but what I'm hoping the eclipse brings is a MUTUALLY satisfying romantic/sexual connection...it doesn't have to be with this particular guy, just anyone I mutually like/respect/enjoy/want.

I'm so tired of the feelings of rejection and defeat, and making the move with some guy feels like it would bring more of the same. However, that said, it's time for me to sharpen my claws and shake out my mane and hit the real world again soon.

In a way, it's less that I want something to happen with this guy SO MUCH--I love him as a friend and lust for him, but I'm not in love with him. It's more that I want to connect with someone in a way that feels exciting, erotic, exhilerating, and gratifying instead of like some big effort or struggle against rejection. I know self-esteem comes from within, but I've taken some energy-killing blows to mine lately and need to rebuild.

And what about this place?! I feel out of the loop. I haven't been here as much as I used to, and when I am here I quickly click out of the drama-filled threads. But I looked through some today. I had no idea things had gotten so tumultuous.

Some good has come for me personally though. I got a dream job offer yesterday. Only problem - and it's a major one - is it will require me to live far, far away for several months.

The lunar eclipse was cnj my Venus. The solar eclipse will aspect my Juno and my SO's Moon. edit: Just realized it will also aspect my dad's Moon and my sister's Sun-Moon cnj.

I totally understand how you feel about the desire for someone else to take the initiative, and you are right, if he doesn't then he probably isn't the right match for you because it's important to be with someone you know wants to be with you and appreciates you. It's easier to know than to feel, but you should remind yourself that being rejected by the previous guy has nothing to do with who you are or your desireability as a woman... it's more a reflection of that person, his own personal issues possibly, or even just a realization that the combination of the two of you wasn't right. I'm sure a ton of men do find you desireable, haven't they before? Just think about the things inside and out that make you beautiful and let that shine with full force and certainly you will get back to that place you deserve to be. Like you said, shake the mane and sharpen the claws . I really hope your night turns out to be everything you wish for!

It is really weird you mention this eclipse as bringing exes back, because in another thread I wrote how I keep writing "exlipse" instead of "eclipse." I said I hope it didn't mean an ex coming back, because I don't want anyone back and it would just be a hassle.

It's probably nothing, just a stupid typo, but I never made that typo with any other eclipse and I make it all the time with this one.

Does anyone know how long the effects of this eclipse last?
