http://www.isarastrology.com/code-of-ethics-mainmenu-41/read-code I didn't know that there is a code of ethics for the astrology field, but it's interesting to know how the astrology field is actually very serious. Aside of the simple, amateur astrological researches I've done so far *cof*, I actually know so little about the astrology community, and even so little about the astrology professional area. ^_^; But well, I do think that it is a big responsibility when we do readings for other people. People who consults astrologers or other similar professionals often doesn't have much knowledge in this field, and they might also see it in a fatalistic way too sometimes, so that what astrologers say can affect them a lot. I'm far from a professional astrologer, but I think that it's nice when we can use astrology's symbolism structure to understand and/or sort out many things in the real life. IP: Logged |

Deux*Antares, just saw it now, lol I wonder if it means that the astrologer can't reveal any intimate/secret issues of third party relationships? Then I wonder what secrets can it actually reveal through astrology lol.IP: Logged |

I am aware of that Code of EthicsThat's why I ask people's permission to post their charts in a forum when I want to use their charts for a post. I won't give anybody a reading if they are under 18. I remember back in 2002, there was a gal from Norway. Who wanted a reading from me. This was in an astrology channel on irc where I gave free online readings. I talked to an irc astrology channel friend about it. He told me not. He told me that there is ethical rule about doing readings for people under the age of 18. I paid attention to what he told me and heeded his advice, and I told her that I couldn't do the reading for her because she's under age. I told her about the ethical rule in regards to age. She didn't like that, but she didn't argue. Raymond

In mythology, Eris ignited discord that led to the Trojan War. “She causes strife by causing arguments among men, by making them think their opinions are right and everyone else’s is wrong,” Dr. Brown said. “It really is just perfect.” http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/15/science/space/15xena.html?_r=1 IP: Logged |
