I have Venus in Cancer but I am not attracted to Mars in Cancer males...well at least the handful I've met. I thought Venus/Mars conjunction was suppose to mean attraction?? What else do you look at for PHYSICAL attraction??IP: Logged |

Great question! With just a physical vavavoom-the-lower-half-of-my-body-okay-now-my-whole-body-is-on-fire, I've always had:-Venus-Pluto -Valentine conjunctions to planets, angles, or sex/love asteroids -sex/love asteroids conjunct ASC, DC, MC or IC -Nodal conjunctions (I know these don't technically govern lust, but as an 8th house person I guess I need to feel some deep transformative connection to have the hots for the guy) -Eros conjunct Mars, Venus, or a love/sex asteroid (in one noticable case, Lust)

Conjunctions or hard aspects to the angles work for me, especially the 1st, or even the 8th. The 8th has been a deeper sexual interest.Mars conj Venus has been highly overrated for me. I like squares and oppositions to my Venus from a man's Mars... probably since I have an opposition in my own chart. Look at your Mars for the kind of man you like. And I don't mean the sign you would like, I mean the traits. For instance, I have Mars in Taurus in the 1st house. That means I like my men direct (1st house), robust, and sensual in a touchy-feely way. With nice hands preferably The aspects made to your Mars further suggest what you'd find sexually attractive, as well as aspects made to your 1st house and 8th house rulers in synastry and your own chart. That's been the case for me, at least. IP: Logged |

My natal seems to give little indication of the types of men I like, other than house placements, at least in the traditional sense...I have natal Mars in Virgo, Venus in Cancer, and the kinds of men I'm most attracted to are sort of Scorpio-influenced Libras or Libra-influenced Scorpios with lots of fire, or Geminis with lots of fire.My Draconic tells the whole story of my attractions--Moon in Libra in the 7th (conjunct DC), Venus in Scorpio in the 7th, Sun-Mars in Sag in the 8th. Lucia, what's your 5th house ? Maybe that would give clues too about what you like ?Oh, and I have a major Scorpio-influenced Libra guy (ex) you can have (I'll ship him out to you) IP: Logged |

Hmmm. That makes sense. I have Mars in Leo and I love Fire signs, mostly Aries and Sagittarius men. I also have Venus in Scorpio and love Scorpios. Good stuff. IP: Logged |

My 5th is Taurus and Gemini...so that might explain the Gemini thing. Although the one Gem I was really into whose birth info I had had his Sun in my 6th (mine in his 6th too, a 0 degree sextile). The other was at a time when I wasn't into astrology.I am ready to give up on the Scorp-Libra combos--Saggies, please apply here! EDIT: MVM, if you want my Plutonic Libran ex, say the word! My guess is that you're barricading the doors. IP: Logged |

Ok myvirgomask:My mars is in Gemini: The man who attracts you is clever and changeable, and a great conversationalist. If he can keep you guessing, then he'll keep you interested. "Communication" is very important to you, so the man who can share information and ideas appeals to you. If he says interesting things and stimulates you intellectually, he'll spark a romantic interest too. You respond to clever conversation and things that arouse your curiosity. Double meanings, sexual innuendos, word-games, and witty flirting arouse your interest. You can be a sucker for the "smooth-talker", but also for the "good listener" who seems interested in everything you have to say. And you do have lots to say. If you have Mars in Gemini, you may be especially drawn to men who arouse your curiosity or offer a variety of experiences. Being "interesting" is more important to you than being exceptionally attractive. Sounds good to me!! IP: Logged |

yet my greatest attraction and love share jupiter in sag, venus in sag, or moon in sag. My jupiter and venus and sun are in sag, and those that I've loved have at least two outta three. Does that make sense? Or is it a comfort factor? Yikes, I really want to break outta the box, but yet, that is what draws me, even when I don't know their placements yet!IP: Logged |

" MVM, if you want my Plutonic Libran ex, say the word! My guess is that you're barricading the doors." ...*Peering out from behind a pile of grand pianos* YEP Lara, I don't know what it is about the hands. I see them and if I like them, I'm like "DUHHH. You put hands on me now, okay? In Public Place. Me 1st House Mars. We do freaky thing, and me happy. You happy too." God, I'm such a tool 4th house Mars... I don't know. But it sounds like you'd be okay with having the bedroom door closed

Because of the nature of most Gemini Mars men that I've known, I can only think of one time that the venus/mars conjunction has worked for me and I honestly thought/still think the guy was beautiful. Every other mars gemini guy I've known has seriously irritated me. Urrrgh, I very much prefer a Gemini *sun*, mercury, or even Jupiter to conjunct my Venus. IP: Logged |

I like Moon/Mars aspects. Those are really playful and sexy at the same time. The trine and the sextile are not as turbulent and volatile as the conjunction, square, or opposition.Venus square Mars Venus conjunction Pluto Mars in 5th house Eros conjunct/oppose Psyche And the shocker...Sun conjunction Moon. Maybe because it encompasses a deeper emotional and romantic attraction that is deeply fulfilling. IP: Logged |

I've never met anyone with Mars in Pisces (my Venus is in Pisces). However, I've met plenty of people with Venus in Sagittarius (my Mars is in Sag).IP: Logged |

Lara & MVM, quote: MVM, geez, no wonder mens hands turn me on so much!! Mars in Taurus
I share this sickness- and this placement! I lurve mens hands. If he doesn't have "the right" hands, then i'm not attracted to him. Think Gary Oldman's hands. They are Perfecto! Anywho, i wanted to say that you're not just attracted to men like your Mars placement. It's a combination of your ENTIRE chart. Mars is just one piece of the puzzle. Your Venus REALLY influences your attractions, so does your Moon, and your Ascendant. Plus, as MVM mentioned, the aspects that are being made to these planets. I like me some squares and oppositions because those aspects are prominent in my chart. It varies from person to person. IP: Logged |
