I also agree for whoever said we go after people that are hard to get. I tend to like a challenge in men and women. It makes things more interesting and rewarding. IP: Logged |

I know two Scorpio Risings, neither are particularly sexy. The male I know with this is very lusty (Mars in Aries, Eros conjunct NN in Aries too), but I wouldn't describe as typically sexy. I'm attracted to him, yes, but mainly because his ASC conjuncts my Vertex.My roommate is the other Scorpio Rising. I wouldn't call her alluring or anything. Leodiva, We do have some chart similarities here and there. Maybe it's our insecure Venus in Cancer which makes us feel unattractive and unworthty as lovers? Or, even the Scorpio rising. Scorpio can be very insecure, suspicious and jealous. We also both have Venus conjucnt Chiron in Cancer- the wound that never heals. We will struggle with our insecurities in this area of our lives for as long as we live. Charming, huh! We also both have Pluto in the 1st house, which gives our aura and appearance EXTRA Pluto! So if we weren't intense or scary or Scorpion enough, now we get an extra pile on our plate! IP: Logged |

Being handsome or beautiful to me isn't always sexy. It's how comfortable a person is in their skin and what they project. Many times it isn't even something you can explain because there is this vibe you can feel with them.IP: Logged |

Yes, I agree with that. Usually the only people who can handle my intensity are other Scorpio/Plutonian individuals... and those are the types that are generally attracted to me. For other types, I usually just scare them away. They say plutonians often have relationships with eachother, b/c we relate to, understand, and are drawn to that kind of energy. I guess it depends on the person, as far as sexy goes. I agree that it depends on confidence. I have met people who have no Scorpio or strong Pluto in their charts, and yet they are incredibly sexy.... and I have met people with scorpio in their charts who are not particularly sexy. Meta, Meh, I think I'm pretty attractive and worth loving, mos definitely.  What I meant when I said I felt "unsexy" was that it wasn't in the traditional sense of what the word meant. You know, not within in the traditional standard of beauty. So maybe the reason we don't typically feel that way is because we don't fit into it, and have our own style. I'm intense...must be a combination of a lot of fire energy (Sun, Mars & Asc all in Sag) and Mercury in Scorpio. I am very aware and a Scorpio said I come across as pretty powerful (I don't see it as that though)...but I just focus right on the issue since I'm a no-nonsense kind of person anyways, very direct.Over the years, I have toned it down, hold back more and just observe (which is more fun actually), because I can size people up and they don't realize that by being silent you learn more. hehehe. Meta-4 and LeoDiva, I'm a Lioness with Cancer in Venus too. Not the other chart similarities with you guys, though.And, interestingly, the people I know with Scorp Rising and/or 1st house Pluto (both guys) are super-aware that they are sexy and beautiful, and they are arrogant about it. They both meet what I would consider to be a very conventional male beauty ideal, although I know that can be subjective. I have struggled at various times with wanting validation that I am sexy and beautiful. And the thing is, when I've gotten the validation, it hasn't been enough! My challenge is to "get" that life isn't about that...that I am allowed to experience love and happiness and mutual chemistry, period, whether I am sexy and beautiful or not. Hard, though. I think Scorp rising intensifies all the other qualities of the individual.I have only known one, besides my self, and "intense" is the best word I can use to describe. Intense can be "sexy", depends on the individual experiencing the energy of the Scorp rising. I have been told, mainly by men, that I scare the hell out of them.
