Are love asteroid couples (Eros-Psyche, Hera-Zeus, etc etc) only important in synastry?I've noticed I have some love asteroid conjunctions in my natal chart--for instance, Adonis-Aphrodite in my 8th house (of my Sun, Mars, Mercury), and Pyramus-Thisbe in my 7th conjunct my Venus. What does this mean? Does it strengthen my level of romantic interest/obsession in the areas of those houses? Or what? IP: Logged |

I'm not really sure what these asteroids mean in the natal chart, but would Arthur-Guenivere really point to lasting, committed love?IP: Logged |

Wouldn't Arthur-Guenivere be the opposite? Love betrayed? And, in my house of self-undoing.I just want to generally know what significance love-pairs have in the natal. A lot of the love-couples people use in astrology are actually totally unromantic to me--I mean, Pluto-Persephone? He basically kidnapped her. IP: Logged |

Lucia, this made me think of the thread i posted a looooooong time ago but no one responded. i have a Juno/Jupiter opposition (a bit wide 6 deg.), and also 2 friends of mine have the same aspects in their Natal charts (tighter). what's common in 3 of us is that we seem to be either in an indefinite state of being single, or never believing in lasting relationships, or just always not interested in pairing up with anyone. when we are in relationships they seem to be extremely short-lived, or we are disillusioned, or getting bored.i wanted to know if anyone also had the same aspect and what their experience was. Very interesting! I wonder whether maybe the couple-asteroids in the chart in general are indicative of attitudes toward relationships.IP: Logged |

so are you a lovey-dovey type with all your asteroid couple conjunctions Lucia, hmm mmm? but, maybe also it depends on which couple, of course. the negative side of Jupiter and Juno's relationship was rather unromantic and skeptical, as it may have manifested in us 3's perception of romance and relationship. Well, there's nothing romantic about some of the couple conjunctions in my chart! Jupiter-Juno=not a great couple, Arthur Guenivere=depressing...my Pluto is conjunct one of the many Persephone-named asteroids...Actually, I have no idea what the couples mean in a natal. I just know they're supposed to increase attraction in synastry. So I hoped someone here would know. IP: Logged |
