Glaucus, your posts on the heliocentric nodes got me to thinking, so I did a comparison to my natal chart and saw more aspects. I was wondering if you believe sextiles and trines are significant too? I noticed in the link you provided that they focused mainly on conjunctions and squares. Also, are aspects to things like Part of Fortune and Psyche something to pay attention to?

Aside from the Venus nodal conjunctions to my Ascendant and Neptune we talked about, I found:
Jupiter NN trine my Moon
Chiron NN trine my Mars, sextile my Venus and square my Part of Fortune
Neptune NN sextile my Moon-Pluto and square my Uranus and Psyche (one of the few asteroids I automatically check with the rest of the natal)

You mentioned the interaction between the heliocentric nodes and your own natal chart, and it sounds like you really identify with those placements. Do you think it's an undeniable part of ones identity? What you wrote about the Venus nodes influencing my life was very true.

Pamela Rowe is a cosmobiologist, and so she just focuses on conjunctions,square to the heliocentric nodes

Carl Payne Tobey said that all the ptolemaic aspects can be used with the heliocentric nodes

we use trines,sextiles to the lunar nodes, and those are very valid.
I don't see why we can't do the same with the heliocentric nodes of objects.

I believe that the heliocentric node aspects in a person's chart reflect significant parts of a person....conjunctions to a heliocentric node (especially involving personal planet,angle) can indicate a major theme in one's life.

Sun conjunct a heliocentric node is especially valid
it's the same as Earth conjunct the opposite heliocentric node

for instance
Sun conjunct Heliocentric North Saturn Node is same as
Earth conjunct Heliocentric South Saturn Node

the Earth is exactly opposite of the Sun

in geocentric chart,
Sun is in 5'20 Aquarius

in heliocentric chart,
Earth is in 5'20 Leo

heliocentric nodes of an object in aspect to geocentric objects.
