Ok i have a questionI have drawn up a synastry chart using both regular and draconic.
Regular chart have
male:F
moon(20 deg taurus) sq sun (19 deg leo)
venus sq moon
venus conjuct saturn&juno
mars sq venus
venus (27 deg cancer) sex mars (28 deg taurus) whereas draconic has
m:f
sun conj moon (pisces)
moon conj venus (capricon)
venus opp mars also moon-male is conjuct drac asc of female in 20 taurus so my questions is from basic sun moon aspects draconic looks more harmonious and less challenging than regular. Hpw should this be interpreted interms of compatbility. the relation is 2 yrs old. so regular- 
and the draconic

Interpret this as "since the past lifelines were harmoniou overall, the challenges in the present will be tackled easily and will lead to overall positive and harmonious evolution for the couple".Notice that NESSUS is conj VALENTINE in the Draconic. Though there was plenty of love, some amount of abusive strings were attached. That is not the case now. IP: Logged |

this is quite interesting!! After reading this thread, I looked up my draconic synastry with my bf... and WOW!! We had some amazing aspects!!!Sun conjunct Moon
Moon conjunct Moon
Venus conjunct Moon
North Node exactly conjunct North Node
Jupiter (ruler of 7h) conjunct AC
Venus and Eros conjunct AC
Venus and Mars conjunct DC
Double Whammy Sun Karma conjunction
Double Whammy Psyche Union conjunction on the DC! I mean, in this lifetime our synastry is pretty good but not as amazing as our draconic!! So would the same thing go for us as you enterpreted for emma_duncan, IQ? Thank you very much! Great thread!  IP: Logged |

i always wanted to ask, is draconic useful for synastry in this lifetime or just refers to past lives and soul connections/karmic debts w no influence or indicators of possibility of being together in current life except maybe the feeling of having known eachother before?IP: Logged |

My personal view on this is that the DRaco chart ONLY shows those past life connections,w hich have some sort of significance for the current incarnation, especially if there are aspects from Draco to Tropical.And they do not only show past lives, but as has been said, deeper soul layers of a person, but then usually the past lives have some influence on our soul-development, so it is all interconnected.
Edit:
maybe a harmonious Draco synastry vs a challenging tropical synastry could mean that there is a deep understanding between you two (Draco) which is difficult to always express on an ordinatry day level (tropical)?
BTW I found that in IQ`s Answer thread

Well pinch me pink I posted a topic about this and nobody replied, so thanks for posting this question emma. I have a relationship where the synastry is nice but not strong between personal planets, the composite is powerfully difficult (sun/merc/pluto conj and a t-square between saturn-uranus-mars) and the draconic is just savage. Like every horrible aspect you could think of at 0 degrees. The kind where you read the descriptions of the aspects and they all say, "unless there are harmonious aspects to balance this out..." ... but there aren't any! DD's comment is very helpful... except what does that last bit mean about "high" and "low"? Like high as in good, or high as in many connections?IP: Logged |

Bopbop,the comment about "high" and "low" relates to IQ`s soulmator, which gives points for the aspects.
So you can get a "high/ low score". But of course you can also just look at your tropical and Draco and see if it is good or challenging.
Well what is deemed "good synastry" is a bit dependent on the one who interpretes it anyway.
Different astrologers will find different aspects good or bad. But I am sure you know that. IP: Logged |

>>Exact Dejanira square by Pluto leads to sadistic sexual control when the relationship shows signs of weakening over a period of time. Your Nessus conjunct his Sun is a good balancer for this. You must also look into other red flag aspects.

Neptune sq Mercury
Neptune sq Moon
Saturn sq Venus/Sun/Moon
Pluto sq Valentine/Persephone/Proserpina
Valentine sq Venus

Eros sq Psyche
