Are any of you guys experienced in dealing with Yods? I would really appreciate some insight into what mine means for me - especially as it is currently being activated by Pluto as we speak!

I have my own ideas of what it all might mean, but I am less than amateur at this sort of thing and would love a few opinions from you guys if that's okay?!

The apex or finger is in your 11th house, so eleventh house matters are heightened, especially since the planet is the Sun so it is inherent in your personality. The quincunx from Pluto and Neptune might indicate deceptions or power struggles with friends. Let me know if this sounds really far fetched.

Yods are formed by two sextile planets both quincuncx another one, so these two are in harmony with each other while at odd with the other.

One of the keys to interpret this aspect is to see that the third planet is actually opposed to the midpoint of these two. So you can try to find balance between the sextile planets' energy and the third planet's energy. ^_~

In your case, it's your Sun that is the quincunx planet. Do you find your ego and self-expression at odds with your sense of idealism and transformation? Maybe you find yourself in conflict with your ideals and deeper self. If so, you have to try to find the balance between these.

Thanks so much to both of you for your replies!!!

Vertiver - I must say, that since miraculously emerging from my teenage years alive and well, that I haven't had nearly as many friendship issues as way back then! Although, I am very Aquarian-like in my friendships. It takes all-sorts and admittedly it might be a case of quantity over quality. I have lots of friends scattered all over the place and I tend to flit between them all. I can't think of any power struggles going on, because I rarely let anyone in close enough to get to that stage. But I guess it might be something to watch out for!!!

Comica23 - My ego interests me! (Oh the irony)!!! I have a feeling that my Leo Ascendant might come into play here, but I have this desperate need to be thought of by my peers as courageous. Seriously - I imagine all these weird scenarios, where I come out on top! I think I hide this well though - I don't think anyone suspects (thank God)! I guess I just want to die a hero! (Although I'd rather survive my heroic act, so I'd be around to listen to all the praise, hahaha)!!! Yet another part of me is really disgusted at myself for thinking like such an ego-maniacal loser!!!!! Perhaps this sort of thing high-lighted in the Yod?! I don't know.....

Taumini, I also have a Yod in my chart as well. And Sun/Mercury are the apex planets in the 8th house. The sextile between Neptune and Moon is a little wide (6 degrees) so it technically isn't a real Yod, but I definitely feel it.
